Thinking back,

2010 has been a year full of... nonsense.

Life sucked this year because it was all mostly about studying for 'A' levels. I seriously had no life. Apart from watching a few movies and going for the Bintan trip, school was just so boring. Not to mention stressful. Thank goodness it's all over! Oh and moving to Yew Tee wasn't so bad. The process of moving was definitely horrible, of course. So was the aftermath of packing and being annoyed by how inconvenient this place is, compared to Northvale. But obviously I'm already used to it.

Such meaninglessness. I hope that next year will be better.

Christmas! Part 2.

PICNIC FAILED :(

Met Gay, Yingwei, Xueying and Lynn at Dhoby Ghaut yesterday and we bought food and drinks together at Carrefour. Along the way to the bus stop I met Yunqian! We were crossing the road and shouting to each other. Haha. Anyway then we reached the botanic gardens, found a shady spot, placed our mat and stuff down, and began to eat. When a lady approached us and asked for donations, we donated though our hands were oily from eating the chicken and she had to wait for us to clean our hands first. A while after she left and also after saying she hoped that it wouldn't rain since there were so many people around, IT STILL RAINED ANYWAY :(

BOOOOO, SUCKS. Yw had mentioned that she was cursed because whenever she came to the botanic gardens it'll rain, but who knew that the curse was so powerful? Hahaha.

Oh well, whatever. We took a bus to Orchard and continued eating and playing games at the McDonald's outside Shaw anyway. Yw left and ditched us to meet her clique, then Lynn left with another friend so Xy, Gay and I went shopping at Takashimaya instead because Xy wanted to spend her $60 voucher.

Bought a christmas present for the gift exchange but I forgot to bring it with me today! :(

So dumb right. I forgot as I woke up at the time I was supposed to meet the rest so I super late and I just rushed out of the house. Dad drove me to meet my friends as he wanted to go out as well.

Met up with Shiya, Amalina and Atiqah and we went to Marina Barrage to fly kite and it was kinda like a picnic as well. We brought junk food, drinks and played card games including my story telling game! Yay.

But IT RAINED YET AGAIN, so we went down, near the water area where it was sheltered. Oh, and Yunqian was super late. She said that she would arrive at 2pm but we waited for her for so long! Tskk. When she finally came and when it stopped raining, we went to play in the water! Then we exchanged presents randomly using poker cards. I received Shiya's present and I'm supposed to give Yunqian the present I bought. Hahaha. Gave her a bag of sweets first to make up for it. Shiya gave me a belated birthday present, too. Thanks!!!!

Tired. But happy. Haven't seen these st john people in such a long time! And I hope that I'll be tanner now. My cheeks and arms are still kinda pink.

Christmas!

Hahaha yay sec 2 chalet was awesome and I met Vera just now! We watched Tron: Legacy together and it was kinda cool! She gave me a belated birthday present too! Omg I feel so bad since I haven't gotten her anything yet. Gave her the souvenir I bought for her from Bintan to feel less bad! Haha. But it was so great to see her, after so long!

Vera had to leave for a christmas dinner so I met Xueying and Justin! (Justin booked out and came to find me last night so we sat at the playground and just talked. He looks so funny with so little hair! Hahahaha) Xy was going home though, so Gay and I went to have dinner at Ikea (Yay, meatballs!) and he bought me the storytelling game which we played at the chalet. The one Daniel borrowed from his friend. YAY I LIKE WE CAN PLAY AGAIN DURING PICNIC TOMORROW! Omg but I'm still like super tired.

I was the only girl at sec 2 chalet haha wtf right. Nureeeeeeen couldn't go because she's even luckier, she gets to go to US. The guys there were people like KK, Paul, Zhengjie, Weijie, Mingshen, Alvin, Jonathan, Nigou, Jen Siong, Bryant, Shaun and Thian Soon. On the first day we went cycling and had a BBQ and on the second day, we went to the arcade and wild wild wet. Haha super fun! Was surprised to meet Joseph in the queue up for the scary looking ride, which turned out not to be that scary after all! Oh yeah and on both nights we played the drinking game (as in drink plain water) and it was really funny.

My 18th birthday

Gay Justin secretly called me at 12 midnight from Tekong! Haha yay! Then people like Paul, KK and Jack texted me and I was wondering: What happened to all my female friends? Later Yingwei and Chrystabel texted me too while I was out with my mum as I had to accompany her to see the podiatrist and after that we shopped at JP together. Then I remembered something called facebook and over 70 people wrote on my wall but I'm too lazy to reply. At night Debby, Shiya, Brenda and Hongyong messaged me too. Anyway I don't really care how I spent my birthday because I'm happy! LY and Bryant gave me stuff from the face shop at my party. Some thingy to put on your eyes to freshen them up and the night mask thing. I don't use that kind of stuff! Hahaha. So my mother koped it because she said it has a very nice smell and it doesn't matter anyway since her birthday is only 2 days earlier than mine so she might as well have it as her birthday present. Michelle and Debby gave me stuff from action city! The cute mini dog stapler thingy and the ultra cute kitty coin bank! I totally love the kitty hahaha it's so so cute so after I opened it I just kept pressing the button so that the kitty appears and meows. Xueying gave me kitty stuff too! A planner for 2011 and a coin purse since I had lost my wallet. She was the first to give me a present so yay! I used the purse straight away. Daniel bought me the card game Traitor that day when we met up for dinner with him and Virgilio after shopping with Gay at Orchard. Justin got me shirts from Fox that day too! Daniel's card game Gloom is still with me ever since the party, and my sis and I have been playing it and trying to make people's lives miserable. It's so fun! Hahaha omg I sound like a sadist. Lynn got me this cute bunny soft toy! Haha yay it's sitting on my bed now with my teddy bear and dale and cat and whatever else but it totally stands out since it's pink! Anyway thanks everyone! :) Oh yeah I woke up late today and I haven't even eaten anything yet. I feel like I just woke up and it's so sucky that my lunch delivery boy is not here to feed me.

Missing wallet, part 2

My mother was right. I just received the things in my wallet via snail mail. My mother kept checking the mailbox everyday and it finally appeared. Not everything though, just all my cards. But never mind. The other things aren't important.

Look at the hypocritical lies written on this piece of paper. I've got a pretty good idea what happened. Probably the person/people who hacked into Justin's facebook account to insult me just before 'A' levels.


What kind of lousy English is this? The second last sentence is obviously a direct translation from Chinese.

Let's analyse this note properly.

1. I know I definitely did not bring it to changi village since I found out that my wallet was missing before actually going to changi village. It was precisely BECAUSE we were going to changi village for lunch which was why I found our that my wallet had disappeared. So finding my wallet there is a big fat lie.
2. This person knows that I just took my A levels so this person knows me.
3. Look at the handwriting.

It brings me back to when I was in primary school. I went to the arcade at JP with my two other friends and then after I played daytona or something my wallet disappeared. Then one of my friends told me to report this to the information counter and after a few days, they contacted me that the wallet was found and everything except the money was returned to me. Suspicious much?

I wouldn't be so lucky all the time. Of course, I know that. But just look at the similarities of both incidents. I think I'm lucky enough to know who my real friends are.

Whatever the case, I'm glad I got back my stuff and I won't pursue this any further. Thanks anyway, whoever you are, since you could've just chosen to throw everything away and just keep the money.

The party was fun!!! :D

Only 8 people turned up so it isn't really a party but whatever, it was still great! Xuemin was nice enough to help me to book the social lounge in northvale and the people who showed up (excluding my mother and my sister) were Justin, Daniel, Xueying, Lynn, Michelle, Leongyew, Bryant and Rui Shan! We played lots of games. After playing with water balloons, LY got thrown into the pool and he pulled Justin in. Hahaha. Thanks for coming and thanks for the presents :)

I've going out almost everyday ever since 'A's ended. Justin's enlistment day is tomorrow and I don't know what I'll be busy with for the next 3 weeks.

HOW SUAY CAN I GET?

I think I'm cursed with bad luck. FML :(

1. Wallet still missing. Have yet to replace all my stuff because I was hoping that it would somehow be found by some kind soul, but no such luck.
2. Found out that vacancies for being a teacher assistant have been all filled up and I can only work as a relief teacher for one month. (I thought Mdm J's offer was the same as being a TA)
3. Out of 28 people invited to the party, at first most of them could turn up but now only 9 people can come.

MISSING WALLET

I lost my wallet. SO FUCKING IRRITATING. My mother keeps questioning me about it.

I'm very sure that I tapped out of the bus and placed it in my bag after alighting from the bus. Then we walked to the chalet and I didn't have any use for it since we had prepared steamboat for dinner. Only realised that it mysteriously disappeared on the second day when we were leaving the place for lunch.

Justin helped me to look for it and everywhere. Several times. By the others came back from lunch and joined the search party, I was so sick of trying to find the stupid wallet.

And how can a wallet vanish into thin air? Does anyone have any idea?

Then we went to the office and asked if they had found anything but the guy there was so annoying and it was like he didn't even know which chalet we were referring to. Stupid. Like he isn't even familiar with his work environment.

He told us to make a police report which was what my sis said that I should do as well. Justin got the number to call to make a police report and I told the Indian policeman over the phone about my lost wallet which includes important things like my IC, ezlink, POSB card and $80. He told me that it was unnecessary to make a police report. Then he said the lamest things ever. It's like he is totally playing the role of being a stupid policeman in same lame TV drama, because he told me to go to ICA to replace my IC, replace my ezlink card and contact my bank. Then he told me straight in the face (or rather, straight in my ear) that it was "too bad" about the money. Asshole.

So I hung up and continued crying.

Yay, what a great police force in Singapore! Explains why they can't even catch gangsters. Awesome! I feel so safe and secure already, knowing that we could all go around taking wallets and not get caught because it is UNNECESSARY to make a police report about lost wallets. Right. Thanks for enlightening me.

And COME ON. Get a life. It's not like I was born yesterday. Not as if I thought those things were irreplaceable and lost forever. I just want my wallet back because it's just so fucking troublesome to replace everything.

Then during the BBQ I told my mother what happened and the first thing she does is to scold me, blame me and rake up the past. She didn't even listen to me when I just wanted her to listen to all the shit I've been through and tell me what to do next. So I screamed at her over the phone and hung up.

IRRITATING.

Anyway, now I'm back at home and had to answer all stupid questions from my mother. I've already replaced my POSB card and finished my game of Super Mario Galaxy on Wii but I hope that my stupid wallet will somehow miraculously appear. If only I could've just said "ACCIO WALLET!" and have it come flying towards me like in Harry Potter. And the whole affair about the lost wallet reminded me of the magical song in Rapunzel which goes:

I LIKE RAPUNZEL: A TANGLED TALE! The movie was super nice. It was typical since the disney princess is always pretty and has the ability to make people sing and dance with her and that there's always a happy ending! I watched it with gay on Sunday before having steamboat with his friends.

Watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One at Vivo with the clique the next day. It was okay lah. As usual, it didn't meet my expectations but since that was expected, I guess it was within expectations. Does that make any sense?

Chalet was kinda fun especially due to the games we played like the storytelling game, the idiot game and many others! Most of them were games which Daniel brought. Oh, and there were many kitties at the chalet! So cute! They like to rub against my legs and let me pet them. I like. Especially the black and white pregnant cat who sort of consoled me when I was fretting over my wallet and the other cat with a fat face and huge eyes.

Dreams

I've had many dreams. I had dreamt before that I was...

• Riding up an escalator to visit cartoon-like, furry monsters that are friendly.
• Sitting on a brown coloured floor with square tiles and looking up at a green spiral staircase with a friend peering down at me. (This was before I got into BBSS!)
• Flying towards a castle but landing at a barn beside the castle, which was by the sea where Melina was. The barn housed a few cats.
• Showing off that I could fly.
• Flying above a grey, dusty looking city.
• Flying in darkness, trying to escape something.
• Floating upwards, away from a green hill which I was standing upon and away from someone who was angry with me.
• Receiving my 'O' level results and failing badly. (Just before the first paper)
• Upset for getting a B4 for English for my 'O' levels.
• Sad for getting lousy results for Math for my 'O' levels.
• Receiving good results for 'O' levels. (After 'O' levels)
• Told to write an essay on language and got exited about it. (This was during the 4E2 chalet. IRL this happened last year for GP. The part about having to write an essay on language, I mean. Not the part about being excited.)
• Back in Brunei watching people kayaking. (This was after OBBD)
• Failing A-Math and had to go for peer tutoring. (End of sec 2, before even learning A-Math)
• Running away from Mark by opening some red door and then entering a grand room with Ming Shen lying on a luxurious sofa being massaged or something.
• Walking around this high tech building before meeting Hanif, Melanie and Justin and exploring it together. (JC1)
• Walking around in an office building but then entering someone's bedroom and later getting revenge on that person with the help for 3 other girls.
• Being harassed by kids in a library. (Must be too much CIP at Ulu Pandan)
• Going down a really long and awesome water slide.
• Floating along some huge water ride inside a cave which looks like some ride in an amusement park.
• Panicking due to losing a front tooth just the day before sec 4 prom.
• Getting back my 'A' level results. All results were flashed on an screen in the classroom and in the dream I did horribly as compared to all my friends.

I can't remember the rest but there were obviously a lot more.

Taken on 15th October 2010: OUR LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Also known as Farewell Assembly/THE LAST FUCKING OFFICIAL DAY OF BEING A PJC STUDENT/The day where they popped the lame confetti balloon in exchange for singing the college anthem, and tried to force us to do the mass dance even when there was no space. Whatever. I love my clique!! :D

So far, everything was OK. I think. I hope so. Except for History. It was terrible. It was a waste. Should've studied harder. Omg, if my results suck I'll be damn sad.

But I have to stop thinking about it. History is history! Be happy now. Worry about results later.

FOUR MORE PAPERS! Lit and Econs. Can't wait for 'A' levels to be over on the 26th. After Lit Paper 5 we will be FREE! :D

Science students will have to wait much longer. HAHAHA.

OH YEAH. A black and white kitteh followed me home last Thursday! (After two tiring papers, Math and History) It went into the lift and followed gay and I all the way to the 17th floor. It kept rubbing itself against our legs. Then after I unlocked the gate and opened the door, it ran straight into my house and into the store room. So cute!

Today, my friends and I were talking about how we used to have Friendster accounts and sent "testis" to one another in secondary school. I just visited Friendster and decided to search for the profiles of those people I've met ever since I've abandoned Friendster and signed up for Facebook. This includes my boyfriend's profile. I laughed a lot because of his pictures. I do not know why. MLIA.

Oh shit. I think I accidentally sent requests to people to join Friendster.

Went for the overseas CIP trip to Bintan during the June holidays but after writing all those reflections I'm too lazy to write about it here! And I totally slacked during the holidays. Only panicked last minute and it was probably too late. But I got to read an interesting book in June - Watermelon Sugar. It was addictive and I kept reading it till the end. I'm currently addicted to Rune Factory Frontier on Wii. It makes me feel like living in the countryside and being a farmer. (If only that was as easy as pressing buttons! But after watching the channel 8 show with Pornsak as the cute host about where food comes from, it obviously isn't) Oh and before that, I was addicted to Sims 2. Yeap, I'm screwed for mid years.

Gay, Yingwei, Miuyen, Xueying and I went for a game of bowling and laserquest after our last paper. And then they came over for Wii. Our own super awesome post exam activities! It was so unlike what we had in school the very next day; a long and boring 3h GP lecture in the hall plus talks by the alumni. School was again a total was of time today as we only had an econs lecture. I don't want to study anymore. I didn't even study much and I felt like crap already. 4 months of studying would be torture. And it's supposed to be a short period of time. We're supposed to feel a sense of urgency and start mugging. Jeez. I think growing up sucks because people who are not yet adults but are about to become one, are already acting like adults and have started nagging even though they've probably complained about being nagged at before. It's scary.

There was a period of time when I forgot how old I was. It lasted for one second. I think it was earlier this year when I thought that I was still sixteen because I forgot that by 17th birthday passed at the end of last year. It was also because I spent the past year telling people who are older than me that I'm sixteen and they were not. But then, it doesn't matter, since more and more people don't act their age. We're all growing up too quickly. And that sucks.

For the past month, I forgot that I had a blog :)

Moving sucks

After meeting Paul yesterday, I met Justin, and then we came to my house to sit down for a while.

Then my mum comes home from Lot 1 with dinner.

Then my dad comes home almost immediately after mum's arrival. He just got the key to the new house. And he was all like, Okay! Let's move!

And I was like, Huh?

So he got Justin and I to put stuff on trolleys and bring it down to the van.

I thought that was all there is to it. But my dad was like, Okay! We're going!

And I was like, Going where?

And he said, Going to the new house lah!

So Justin sat at the back and I laughed on the way there because it was all so funny that Justin got dragged along.

My new house sucks because it's smaller than my old house. The rooms and toilets and even the kitchen, are all smaller. The only thing that seems bigger is the living room.

Then we went back home and after I bathed and had dinner we moved stuff there again.

This morning I went for chinese drama. We ended later than expected.

Just came back from the new house. This time I went with mum and dad. While in the van, mum was talking non stop. Her own monologue.

We shifted some stuff there and after talking for a while, my parents started arguing about where to place the bedroom cupboards.

After that, they decided to argue about how to arrange the furniture in the living room. They both had different ideas so I offered my suggestion and they accepted it. Yay! I'm awesome.

But then they went on to argue about the fridge. I decided to sit this one out and waited at the staircase.

Oh yeah, and the new house was being painted earlier today. The walls are all light green except one room, which is light blue. It's quite nice.

Jie went in the morning and says that we need a trans-dimensional vortex to store our things because the new house is so small.

Sucks. We have to move out by Wednesday. All the new furniture is gonna come on that day too. I might have to skip school.

Current house is in a mess with boxes everywhere. It's like a maze. And I thought I'd be able to study ever since I cleared my table.

I guess homework can wait.

Labour day holiday? Where got.

I'll miss..

I'm moving next week.

I DON'T WANNA :(

I spent my entire day packing all my stuff into boxes. It's tiring but fun. I found $1.40, movie tickets that have turned yellow, and neoprints that haven't been cut. Was also an opportunity to organise my stuff. Now my study table is cleared and so empty that I can actually study. So I think I'm pretty much prepared to leave Northvale.

But..

I'll miss the pool like how it was when it was not green. I'll miss the gym/basketball court/mini golf area even though I don't use it. I'll miss sitting at the squash court but not playing squash, as well as booking the tennis court but not playing tennis. I'll miss being scolded by security guards for stupid reasons. I'll miss the staircase. I'll miss the big slope. I'll miss the fountain. I'll miss the management office and the events that they organise even though we don't participate in them but watch from the window. I'll miss complaining about noise because of the activities downstairs. I'll miss the BBQ pits and function rooms/social lounge. I'll miss bumping into Mr Ng and his family. I'll miss rollerblading in Northvale. I'll miss studying at Blk 71. I'll miss walking in the basement to go home when it's raining. I'll miss the cats, dogs, plants and pathways.

Most importantly, I'll miss the convenience of just walking over to Lot 1/CCK MRT/CCK bus interchange. I'll miss how easy it is to get home :(

But it's okay. I'll just have to get used to it. Maybe the new house will be neater and maybe I'll actually have a nicer study area so that I won't go out to study with the risk that I might not do much.

I really hate school now. I joined CDS for the CCA points and we're gonna perform together with other performing arts CCAs on 12 May. I'm just some minor character who has a line and then runs off stage. Yay. Hahah. It's so stupid. But I still have to go for rehearsals.

Had my official last day at Ulu Pandan Stars yesterday. Had to teach them how to do their science homework and I totally hated it. The kids kept asking me like, 'cher, how come today your last day? Hahah. Mrs Hauw gave me nice comments on the Service Learning feedback form thingy. Yay! Oh, and because during the short span of time while I was at home after school and before going for tuition, I did a bit of packing and realised I that I didn't want some of my stuff anymore. So my mum told me to give it to the P4 children. I don't know if they'll miss me but I'll miss those kids :(

I have such a sad life. Giving up fun just to study for 'A' levels.

My sister wrote me a letter and secretly placed it in my planner. Discovered it on Friday morning because I took it out to do the lit essay on The Birthday Party. Read it while waiting in the computer lab to go for the external validation thing. Haha. She's so sweet! It was a nice surprise.

I want to go out and de-stress! I WANT CLIQUE OUTINGS! :(

Stayed at the Sanctuary and played Pictionary after PE with gay, gay's friend, yw and lena. It was so fun!

The last episode of 'Temptation of Wife' was aired on Channel U just now! I think the overall gist of the ending was okay but the last scene was lame. I wanted a nicer ending! But the show was still awesome.

Watched 'When In Rome' on Sunday with gay at Vivo!

YAY COMMON TESTS ARE OVER!

Didn't study much and I don't know why I'm so happy since it's just common tests. It sucks that I wasted my March holidays by trying to study. But it was still a good day since I don't need to study so much anymore! And I happened to meet Yi Ting on the way home! Haven't seen her for such a long time. So we just ended up talking and standing there. Then Beatrice suddenly popped out of nowhere and we talked even more until it was nearly 7pm.

Anyway, I RECENTLY MADE JUSTIN CRY! Hahahaha. Isn't that awesome?

Okay, just kidding. I recommended him to watch this Korean drama, Couple or Trouble, and he cried. Okay okay, he didn't cry. He claims that he TEARED. Same difference. I love that drama. It's so nice that I re-watched the some of the episodes with him and cried again! Especially at the last few episodes. But it wasn't as bad compared to the first time I watched it. Yingwei says that I should watch new dramas but I'm so lazy.

Yingwei invited us to her birthday BBQ (13/3) where we met her clique and played block catching! It was so fun and all of us bought her pretty presents and the food was yummy (especially curry potatoes and satay!)

Eeyer, I wanted to blog about how my sister left a message on my desktop wallpaper to nag at me and how she texted me about her swishy skirt but my dad just woke up and told me to go to sleep in an irritated voice. But I'm not making any noise! This is annoying as I feel that he does not have the right to scold me sometimes. At least I'm earning my keep.

Hello, world. Life has been sucky and I've not been updating but it seems like my friends want me to. I'm still stuck in Pioneer Junior College with teachers who think that my skirt is too short, think that I cheated on a test, or step on my shoe and then tell me off by saying that I should behave appropriately in school uniform. (The last issue is obviously the most unreasonable one)

Other than being a lame NE/CE rep aka safety and security ambassador who extinguished the stupid fire provided by the SCDF, I was also appointed an SL rep who is still unable to find CIP for her class. (Please help me out if you can!) The only CIP was the one Ms Lim provided; packing bags with information about universities and stuff. I thought it was for us but it was actually for the seniors who came back to get their 'A' level results. Oh and as a member of the Editorial Board all of a sudden, we had to interview the top students and asked them typical questions about how they got their pretty As. I also went for the Pre-U seminar interview. Doesn't look like I'll be chosen, though.

Two recent movies I watched were "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant" and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief". I just realised that both are adapted from kid books. The second movie was better than the first but it was somewhat like Harry Potter, since it's about 3 characters who go an adventure and somehow manage to survive. Watched the first movie with Amalina, Atiqah and Shiya after school. Watched Percy Jackson with Miuyen, Lynn and Justin after the CNY celebrations in school.

Speaking of Chinese New Year, this year's was utterly boring, as usual. It involves sitting around, stoning, collecting red packets from random relatives and watching people do stupid things. (Such as declaring that he is half filipino) I guess the only thing different was that I made CNY decorations such as lanterns, fish and bombs with red packets. Ironically, it wasn't used to decorate my house but to decorate the classroom which we currently still aren't using. We didn't get anything from the competition but it's okay because it was nice to see the class working together. I had fun making the stuff anyway.

I got to visit Xueying's house even though I probably smelt like burnt paper that day when Zhen Xiang, Justin and I went over to celebrate her birthday by making her do silly things for her presents. Hahaha. Oh yeah. Xueying, Lynn, Yingwei, Justin and I went to LaserQuest to play a few weeks ago! It was super fun and we should go there again someday. I lost out to the stupid gay by only a few points. During that week, there was the PJC road run. I was a road marshall so I didn't have to run. YAY! I'm such a lazy person. When Mr. Hiap said during PE that I could actually run, I was too tired from running intervals to protest. Ha. After the road run, I met Paul and Jen Siong and we ended up sitting at Northvale's tennis court playing cards and talking shit. Interesting shit, though.

All that kind of sums up what happened all this time I didn't update, I guess. I obviously excluded the part about the overwhelming amount of homework received. Oh, and I'm still tutoring the kids every Friday, just that I'm the class rep now.

I hate my blog and how I'm not speaking my mind here.

Anyway, it was the gay's birthday last Friday and I planned a surprise for him! Yay yay yay. The day before I was shopping with my mum at first, then getting stuff last minute by myself and later meeting Daniel to share the cost of the present with him. I was so tired at the end of the day! Rushed back home as I had to dump everything away before meeting gay at Lot 1 for dinner.

Lugged three presents and the cake over to meet the rest. Had my mother's help along the way, since she was going to the hospital for a visit. Initially, the plan was to meet Elena, Miuyen, Steven and Xueying before walking to Justin's house and surprising him at the door. But we thought of pushing him into the pool instead so I became the bait standing on the opposite side of the pool, in front of the gate which leads to the lift lobby. The others hid at the side, waiting for him to come out of the building. I called him and when he came down, I waved at him to come over. Hahaha. He looked around, saw the girls first, didn't notice Steven, who started pushing him into the pool. Hahahaha it was so funny!

Went up to his house and we had cake! Yum. Then we went to Cineleisure's K-Box! Weiling joined us there too. After that karaoke session, we met Zhen Xiang and all of us had dinner together at Astons. Sat around at Starbucks and played the board game, 'You Must Be An Idiot!' which was the present Daniel and I bought for Justin. Haha it was so much fun! Took the bus and LRT home.

Stupid gay. He's one year 11 months older but still as childish as I am.

On Sunday night, I was all like booo, I don't wanna go to school. My weird sister came and locked arms with me saying that she had school the next day too, so I was like okay lets dance about it so we jumped around. Lol. MLIA.

School's been okay so far. It was nice eating at Pastamania with Yingwei, Miuyen, Lynn, Elena, Xueying and Justin after school today. I love my friends but lessons have been a drag and I'm still in holiday mood. I haven't even finished holiday homework. I don't get enough sleep and end up stoning most of the time.

I know a lot of people have been telling me to update but I've been going out every single day so I don't have the time. And when I have the time I don't know where to start!

I'm just so tired. Been neglecting my holiday homework as well. And school holidays are going to be over soon! Oh nos.


22/11/09: I met these people! ♥

Vanessa, Rui Shan, Chrystabel and Melina! We celebrated Melina's birthday (belated) by giving her a present and eating dinner together at Pizzahut. Then I went home and my family hurriedly sent me off to the airport. (Kiasu parents. Reach so early for what?)

10/12/09: Shopped at Orchard with my mum and my sis. Bought 2 dresses. Yay! Oh yeah but we had trouble meeting up and I got quite irritated because mum told my sis and I to meet her after work at McDonald's. At Shaw House. And there were 3 or 4 McDonald's outlets there.

11/12/09: One month anniversary! We went to Vivo's Giant to get stuff before going to Marina Barrage for our picnic. Flew this sun and moon kite. It was nice to just lie on the mat and watch the clouds go by.


After that we packed up and went to the water area to play. Hahah. Then he brought me to Somerset 313 and we had dinner at Din Tai Fung.

12/12/09: Had Metro SIF duty at Compass Point with Yingwei and Justin. It was fun just standing there talking, or getting donations and giving away clips and metro discount booklets. The three of us together reminded me of the Jalan Besar outing. We went to Raffles City. Got a bit irritated. Had dinner with YW at the food place.

13/12/09: My birthday! Thanks to all those who wished! Justin brought me to Plaza Sing's Crystal Jade for lunch before watching The Princess and the Frog at The Cathay. Hahaha yayy. The movie was so cute!



Then we shopped for a bit at Ion before going back to Plaza Sing, where we met Jack, Debby, Lynn, Elena and Daniel. Went to Swensen's for dinner and I received lots of presents! YAY all of them are so nice! Lynn gave me a necklace, Elena got me a lamp, Jack and Debby got me a dress on behalf of the picnic gang and Daniel got me a pack of cards. Justin made this big birthday board for me! There were lots of birthday messages and it's super prettyyy! Thanks, everyone! ♥





Oh, and the waiter there happened to be a Justin as well. Hahaha. There was an ice cream cake and my friends sang me a birthday song! Went to Istana park before going home.

I didn't put my birthday on facebook this year because I didn't want random people or people who barely know me to wish me just for the sake of it or just because they see it on their home page. So this year, only the people who mattered wished. Whether belated or not, it doesn't matter.

14/12/09: Kuan Keong asked me to book the tennis court at my condo for him and Paul, and they came over in the morning to play. After their tennis session, they wanted to play table tennis as well and they asked me to dig out table tennis rackets and balls from my store room. Zhengjie came over as well and after that my sis and I went to have lunch with the three of them to Lot 1. KK kept complaining that he was bored and had nothing to do so they came over to play wii. Hahaha yay, it was fun!

15/12/09: Vera and I were supposed to go out but she overslept! Hahaha. I knew she would anyway, so we talked over the phone and decided that I should go over to her house so that we can talk and catch up! I've never been to her house at JE anyway, and we're both moving further away from each other next year! Ate a late lunch together at a hawker centre nearby and she gave me two bracelets as souvenirs from her trips to China (CIP) and Philippines (Boracay)! Yay thanks twin! (I forgot to bring souvenirs for her from England! Sorry!)


At her house, I met her dog, Creamy! It's like super guai since it doesn't bark at all and obeys instructions to sit, stay, shake, and "say sorry"! So cute! And it was wagging its tail and smiling happily but when we were leaving the house, it gave us a sad look. Aww! And her funny brother sent an SMS to the house phone which made us laugh like crazy. Then Vera and I had dinner at IMM and we shopped at Daiso before going home.

16/12/09: Met up with Shiya, Yunqian, Atiqah and Amalina at JP to watch New Moon! I think it was better than the first movie but it was still quite boring. Booo.

After the movie, we went to eat dinner. Yunqian and Atiqah supposedly "went off first" but they were acting all suspicious so it was obvious that they were gonna surprise me with something! Then while Shiya, Ama and I were eating, Yunqian and Atiqah came back with a cake they made at The Icing Room! Yay! It looks so cute! Oh, and we actually weren't supposed to bring outside food and take photos at Banquet, but they sang me a birthday song anyway!


We hung out outside Jurong Point and took photos! (Damn, why did I wear that fugly shirt) They gave me a birthday card and a notebook/diary as well! Yay thanks! ♥ I love the photos and wishes inside the card. And the notebook is cute! (Except for the fact that it says "Mini planer" instead of "planner". I guess cute things like these never go together with proper English)

19/12/09: Metro SIF duty at Paragon! Met up with Justin and Steven to have breakfast before meeting Lynn. Other PJC students from my chinese class came as well. Looked for the office and reported to the Duty Manager. Lynn and I went to the booth inside Metro. Business wasn't so good and there wasn't much of a crowd though it was a Saturday. Oh, and the guys came up sometimes because there was nothing much to do. Steven was funny because he kept forgetting that the escalator going up was just next to the booth, so he kept disappearing from one side and reappearing at the other! It was so funny. And there was this generous auntie who donated $50! Wow. The Metro staff kept telling us to go and eat free food in the office as well. After our duty, Lynn went off to meet her family so the three of us walked around and had dinner together.

20/12/09: Metro again! It was more fun today because we had a lot of business this time! Oh, and I was surprised to see Samuel! He was our booth's balloon sculptor. At first, it was Justin, Samuel and I but Steven came up from the booth at the atrium, so I was stuck there with three guys twisting balloons. And there were so many cute kids to tempt balloons with! Haha. This shift was the best one ever, and it was my last one too. But we had to wait quite some time for the second shift to come and were dismissed late. Walked around with Steven and Justin. Steven left so Justin and I went to Suntec City. It was my idea to go there since it was the last day of the Popular BookFest. We went to the exhibition halls and bought lots of stationary! Then we had dinner at JustAcia. At Suntec, I could feel that I've been there many times when I was a kid. The floor tiles look familiar.

21/12/09: Chalet! Packed my bag in the morning and met the guys at noon at Bukit Batok MRT. Nureen was going to be late and said she'll meet as at Pasir Ris. So the ten of us, Kuan Keong, Alvin, Paul, Zhengjie, Shaun, Jen Siong, Ming Shen, Kai Herng and Nicholas went to White Sands to have lunch at the food court. Nureen came while we were eating.

Went to Costa Sands Downtown East. We were walking to our room and I found everything to be familiar. Then I realised that omg, it was the same room as last year's! Hahaha it's somehow kinda cool.

Slacked in the room for a while before going to get stuff for the BBQ. It was fun catching up with Nureen and taking photos! And it's nice to see that the guys still seem really close. Oh but Paul was sick so he could only eat porridge. I brought a tub of chocolate which I got from London, and told them to eat the London chocolate. The guys started singing the "London choco roll" song which you hear on TV and it was so funny! They ate it all and the next day I gave out chocolate eclairs (the sweets, not pastry) and told them to eat London eclairs. And they started singing again. Hahaha. Oh yeah anyway after the BBQ, we went to the arcade at E!Hub. We went back to the room after that as it was about to close at midnight.

22/12/09: Wanted to play games and since Alvin wanted us to do things together and bond, we played this drinking game at night! It was really funny because we could make up silly rules and sabotage others to drink more water! And after one round we found that the game was really fun so we started a second round after everyone went to the toilet. Haha. Halfway through the game Kai Herng couldn't take it anymore! So we persuaded him to just go to the toilet and end the game. So he did and while he was walking to the toilet all the other guys rushed to the toilet too. Hahaha! Mingshen, Nureen and I were the only ones left, laughing at them. Stayed up for a while to watch a movie but halfway through some of us started falling asleep.

Woke up and decided to play this eating game. We were divided into two groups. I was with Mingshen, Zhengjie, Kai Herng and Jen Siong. Nureen was with KK, Shaun, Paul, Nigou and Alvin. We were supposed to eat a dish and link it to the next one. We were also supposed to eat each dish at different locations. But my group was lazy and hungry so we didn't follow these rules and started making up our own names for food. Hahaha it was so funny and dumb. Obviously the other group won and we had to treat them to dinner. Hahahaha. Damn funny.

It was drizzling but we wanted to cycle. Those who didn't want to stayed in the room while Alvin, KK, Paul, Shaun, Nureen and I went cycling! I still suck at cycling but whatever! It was nice riding on the two seater bicycle behind Alvin, who was really stable. But with KK, it was funny and scary since he didn't pedal sometimes and just sat there, calling himself the sitting buddha. Hahaha. Ate together at Fish and Co Express for dinner before going off with Nureen. Chalet was super fun! ♥


27/12/09: Completed math revision set 4 at JE library. Okay, not really, but at least I attempted all the questions. Justin was beside me slacking and reading comics, as well as the books I recommended to him.

28/12/09: Met up with Shiya, Amalina and Atiqah at Vivocity to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel. We couldn't get tickets for an earlier movie so we got tickets for the show at 6pm. Had lunch at Harbourfront Centre's Pizzahut. Slacked and talked there for quite a while since we had so much time to spare.

The movie was really cute!! Especially the part where the chipmunks meet the chipettes at the locker area in high school. Hahaha. But other than the cuteness it was just okay. Shopped for earrings after that. The girls left and I met Justin for dinner at Superdog.

30/12/09: Left the house with my sister. Ate at Raffles City and shopped for a while. Then I went to meet Justin at Orchard. Went to the rooftop of Orchard Central. Went to Plaza Sing to meet his friends. Had to meet my friends at Cineleisure so Justin told his friends that he'd be sending me off first. Waited at Cineleisure for Debby and Michelle but it turns out that they didn't know that Cathay Orchard = Cineleisure. They thought it was The Cathay at Plaza Sing.

So gay sent me back to Plaza Sing and I was really annoyed. Then just as we reached Dhouby Ghaut I got a message to stay at Cineleisure. Then I got a call and I just blew my top. Sorry :(

But it was kinda funny how Justin told me that it was scary and said to remind him never to get on my bad side. Hahahah.

Gay had to rush off to watch Sherlock Holmes with his friends at The Cathay after sending me off to Plaza Sing since he insisted to leave only after we've meet Michelle and Debby. Chilled for a while and everything was okay.




Met up with Jack too and we walked to Cineleisure. Met Bryant and LY there. Couldn't get tickets for an earlier movie so we got tickets for the one at 9.45pm. Had dinner at Koufu and the guys left as they wanted to shop. Hahaha. Role reversal yet again!

The movie ended quite late and Debby had to rush home so we took a cab back together. Oh and the movie was quite good! I like how the mystery is solved at the end.



31/12/09: Was supposed to meet up with Xueying, Elena, Justin and Zhen Siang but I didn't get to do so! Oh well. I thought I could get all my friends together to watch fireworks but it's okay, I still had loads of fun! Met KK, Paul, Shaun, Nigou and Zhengjie at Bugis. Went to the arcade, didn't really want to play anything but ended up thrashing KK and Shaun at Daytona. Yay!

The group purposely pangseh-ed Paul and I! We were pass Centrepoint and they ditched us by going to Starbucks. What the heck! Hahaha. After that ZJ and Nigou left and the rest of us went to Marina Square to have BBQ/steamboat/buffet dinner at Yuki Yaki. It was fun cooking the food and playing with the ice-cream!

Omgosh, another gay! Hahaha.

Then we went to Suntec's Carrefour to get some drinks and snacks. Sat at the swing and chairs there for a while. Haha. We had to squeeze with the crowd to get to the road to watch fireworks. The guys protected me all the way! Haha. Found a spot to sit down and wait, and then...

01/01/10: Fireworks! Welcome, 2010!


I was smiling while watching the fireworks display. Looking back, 2009 wasn't that bad. Though I may have seemed to make some bad decisions earlier in the year, everything turned out OK. What matters is that I managed to keep in touch with my friends after receiving my 'O' level certificate, and that I'm happy doing the things I want to :)

The guys waited with me at Raffles Place for gay to come meet me before going off to watch their late night movie.

3/1/10: Studied with Lynn and Justin at Jurong Regional Library. Or rather, they studied while I was supposed to do econs but ended up helping them with math and reading a story book. Haha. It was still quite productive anyway.

4/1/10: Waited for Justin outside school for him to finish his math test. Then we went to meet Elena and Hanif for lunch. Shopped and ended up watching Avatar at JP!



Yay, I finally got to watch the movie! It was already Hanif and Elena's second time while it was Justin's third time watching the movie. And you can't blame them; the movie was awesome.

5/1/10: Met up with Shiya, Amalina and Atiqah to watch The Treasure Hunter which was kinda sucky. I thought there would be more but it just left me feeling blur and not knowing what really happened.

Damn it, I'M BROKE :'(
