food drive, FDC

this is the uber outdated entry i promised the other day. didn't post this entry cause i kept forgetting to.
today i remembered so i shall publish this post:)

290807, Wednesday

helped out to pack the food at the dnt room for the food from the heart CIP project thingy. hahas. accidentally brought my sister's camera to school that day, and had forgotten all about it until i saw mrs cecilia wong going around snapping photos, so i did the same.

the food 3e2 had collected(: look at the mountain of biscuits!

we were supposed to have a literature party which was suggested by mrs tan, but to our surprise, she did not come to school! :\ oh well. we went to tutorial room 5 and carried out the party anyway, eating all the junk food that we brought(:

310807, Friday

teachers' day celebrations were boring! but some songs that were performed were quite nice. after the concert was the inter class games, and there were three casualties. whoa. who knew that captain's ball could be so rough.

after everything had ended, most of the sec threes had to settle sjab stuff. so was running around getting things done. was supposed to have history remedial too, but it was postponed. yay(:

jack, meirong, vanessa and i went to visit nan hua primary. took a quick bus ride there and had to sign in before entering the school canteen. walked around to look at how the school has changed.

went to sit in the canteen. the school is so rich that they had television screens on the walls of the canteen and painted the school rules on the walls near the ceilings too.


there was this piano in the canteen, on a platform and next to a vending machine. strange, but cool. persuaded vv to play on it and realised it was out of tune.

went up to the hall and jack disappeared to join his EM1 friends. was with meirong, vanessa, peifern and this other guy from 6c. accompanied them to find their teachers, then went to talk to mr kang. haha. at least he remembers me hur. he looks different, more matured? post marriage effects or what. hmm. or maybe because he wasn't wearing his specs.

020907, Sunday

had the SJAB Brigade General Inspection. boring! just marched and stood there for approximately one hour during the parade. hahas. some people fainted with style, falling backwards or to the side. during the march off, the ground that we had to march on was all muddy as it had rained before the parade. ugh, gross. although my boots sank into the mud and i had to pull it out of the ground with each step as we crossed that area, i didnt see the need for such a huge reaction to scream or complain. went home after dinner and washed my boots.


030907, Monday

had a one hour history remedial. mrs toh taught us a new chapter and her lesson ended pretty quickly. shiya and i changed and joined atiqah, amalina, hui fen and leepeng for footdrill training. ma'am liping trained us. later we were told that we could only train till 1pm, as there would be N level listening comprehension. so training ended early and we went to have lunch at westmall's kfc. then the rest left while shiya and i walked around westmall, not wanting to go home yet. so we decided to watch Evan Almighty. the storyline was quite stupid but the movie was hilarious. and in the movie, the flood was to occur on 22 Sept, midday. vv's birthday! lol.


040907, Tuesday

went to vivo to watch hairspray! it was something like high school muscial- loads of dancing and singing. the show dealt with themes such as to follow your dreams, not to be superficial, and also racism, in a comical way. loved the movie!


050907, Wednesday

4 hours of physics remedial in the morning was hell for me. although we had breaks and mr goh gave us some food to eat, i didnt get the lesson about pressure! i couldn't absorb the topic so i didn't really get it. mr goh gave me a chocolate but i still dont like him for demoralizing me after the SA1 exams.

after remedial, nureen, brenda, peijun, wenxin, shahilah, suhailah, wylin and i went to have lunch at this place down the road from school. had 2 pieces of roti prata with ice milo. then shahilah, nureen and i went to suhailah's house to do our chemistry project. crapped with them but we still managed to finish it pretty quickly.


060907, Thursday

had footdrill training for the whole day in school, and at the end of everything my leg muscles were aching. ow ow. was exhuasted and went home to sleep without touching any homework during this september break so far. it is SO NOT a school holiday lah.


070907, Friday

had to go to amalina's house early in the morning with shiya to apply kilat on our boots to make them shiny. met ama at her void deck. leepeng and huifen came too. had to use my fingers to smear the black, sticky substance all over my boots. ew, gross! but quite fun doing it lah :) after a while shiya had to go and meet her friends to do her project, so she left at 9.30am after all of us went up to ama's house to wash out hands. she told me to help her keep her boots when they were dry. we placed our boots in the sun.

shuangyu also came to do her boots. ama left at 10am as she went out with her family to vivocity. so i was left with shuangyu, leepeng and huifen. while waiting, i read the book that i borrowed from the library, "Top 10 Uses for an Unworn Prom Dress" when i had finished the book, the boots weren't dried yet. shuangyu left and asked leepeng to help her keep her boots. at around 12 plus in the afternoon, the boots were almost dry and so i decided that we should keep them and go home. said goodbye to the sec twos and left ama's void deck in the opposite direction, walking towards bb interchange.

went home and my mother brought me out to lot 1. she told me to get tickets to watch the movie 881 while she bought food for us to eat while watching the show later. when i reached the highest level, it was packed and the queue to buy tickets was super long. so i waited in line and when my mother came up she had trouble looking for me as it was so noisy and crowded. there was a group of children probably going to watch ratatouille (i want to watch!) my mother and i finally bought our tickets, went into the threatre and sat in the second row from the back.

the movie 881 was so funny but quite stupid at some parts, when they went to visit the goddess or when they used some "magic" or something. there are subtitles for those who dont understand hokkien, and at the end when xiao mu gua died, it was so sad that my mother almost cried. haha. ate some pastry from four leaves during the show, and went home to get my sj uniform ready for the next day.


080907, Saturday

FOOTDRILL COMPETITION! i told my mother to wake me up at 5am in the morning as i had to meet the rest at 6.15. instead, we woke up at 6am when shiya called and i was like, what? ITS 6AM?! MUMMY, YOU DIDN'T WAKE ME UP! and my mother was like, you never set alarm what. and i was like, thats why i told you, you are my human alarm!

anyway i went to answer the phone and shiya said she'd wait for me, but i said no need because i felt bad but she insisted. so i quickly got dressed and asked dad to drive us to clementi town secondary school. he did not know where the school was but i knew, as i've seen it before from the mrt train. it was somewhere near queenstown secondary, and from the mrt, you could only see a bit of the school building and some basketball courts.

i directed my dad to the school while it started raining. when we reached the school building, shiya and i rushed out of the car and into the canteen where it was sheltered. we looked around and saw a few st john members from other schools, then realised that those whom we were to have met at 6.15, had not arrived yet. lol. i got to sleep late and yet was still early. so we stoned for a while before changing into our boots. that was when we saw the rest walking into the school under umbrellas, getting all wet. lol.

after changing, jeaneve and ma'am liping gelled our hair. our team was N5, the last nursing team. there were 3 mixed teams and 2 ambulance teams. went to the hall for uniform inspection and then they brought us to this lecture room as our holding room to wait. there was a laptop in front which showed the time which the next team had to go down to the basketball court for their turn. they let the ambulance and mixed team category to go first, which meant that we were the very last team to go down.

while waiting, we went to the toilet like, a gazillion times. and the marshall had to escort us there everytime we went as a whole team. lol. then when it was our turn, we waited for N4 to finish. N4 was from RV, and we got so nervous and intimidated by their drills. after they marched off, it was our turn. the space to do the whole footdrill format was very small, so we had to take very small steps. at the end of the whole thing, we were in low spirits, thinking that we screwed up and that we did better during training.

we went to the hall and all the other teams were already sitting there. sir kwek told each and every team our mistakes. when he spoke about N4, he said that their slow march was pretty good. when he commented about our team, he said that our crossing was good. so that made us even. then he went on to talk about the uniform inspection. he said N4's hair was very neat, and N5 were the only ones who really shined their boots :D

then it was time for the prize presentation. they announced the other categories first before they came to the nursing category. when they announced that N4 was the first runner up, we heard our supporters sitting at the side whoop and clap. atiqah was standing beside me and she started to cry. we collected our trophies and marched back and waited to be dismissed. was so happy to have won for the third year in a row :) this meant that we could keep the challenge trophy. lunched at a hawker centre before heading home.


090907, Sunday

woke up early to go to hq for the sjab walkathon. twenty of us went and it was SO BORING. we sat there in the carpark at the zone 9 area, with all the other sjab members from other zone and schools, waiting for the walkathon to start. and when it did, we just followed the crowd and walked. how lame. just walk and walk and walk. it was in the morning and by the time we walked back to hq, we were perspiring. at the gate, we collected bread, a bottle of water and a small slip of paper for the lucky draw. my number was 2333. went to tiong bahru plaza and lunched at long john before going home.

was really high after school, dontknow why :D
went to westmall to eat with yunqian and shiya at kfc. ordered quickly and when i went back carrying my tray, i saw some guys like nicholas, kk, paul and zhengjie settling down at the table beside ours. lols.

& he asked today. ahaha. could i be any happier?

YAYZ I HAVE A WONDERFUL MOTHER :)
she got me a new, pretty handphone! its the SGH-Z560. SO NICE CAN! it has all the features that i want- samsung, flip flip kind, has bluetooth and camera. hahaha. am playing with it now, trying everything. oh, and my mother also sent my mp3 for repair. my sister borrowed it and i dontknow how but when i got it back i just could not turn it on. she's going to collect it for me next week. haha. thanks a lot, mom :)

went to the jurong regional library in the morning to study. can i just say that he's very nice and sweet? though i didnt get to do much studying, i stayed there till 2pm before heading to woodlands for my math tuition. and that wasn't much of a help either.

lunched at kfc again after school with melina, jiaying, yunqian, josephine and chrystabel to celebrate vanessa's birthday! sang her a birthday song and gave her the present that melina and i shared. lols. her birthday's on saturday, 22nd of september, so we celebrated in advance. hope she will like our present! :)

English Paper One- did reaally badly, i did not have enough time to finish my compo! can you believe it?! i left my sentence just hanging there, because i was writing about a topic that i didnt know what to write about, so it became a cliche story with a predictable plot. jeez. shouldve done boredom. i was still writing when mdm yeo came round to collect, and she beat my hand and told me to stop writing. sighs. bad time management. have no idea why, just wasnt in the mood to write good essays.

Chinese Paper One and Two- paper one was surprisingly okay. just crapped lah. once again spent too much time on yingyongwen, and had lesser time for compo. so just wrote stupid things. had to flip the dictionary alot, couldnt remember how to write some simple words. for paper two, i didnt have time to finish the last few questions of comprehension. especially the simple four marks question, that was just asking for your opinion. arghs.

had to settle some sjab cpbs stuff with miss lim after the exam.

mid-autumn festival! went to paul's house with yunqian and zhiwei. after playing this game on his xbox we went downstairs to play with candles.

can i just say that i felt very left out and bored? not to mention, my mother scolded me when i got home. saying i shouldn't stay out late on a school night, with the end of year examinations coming.

031007, Wednesday

yunqian, nicholas and paul came to my house to study for our last paper.
except that i didnt do much studying. just reading through the chemistry textbook doesnt help much since i still don't understand. nicholas and yunqian were studying for bio, testing each other.

i was still being pissed. seriously. nobody understands.
i dont need to put up with this fucking nonsense.

extra lessons

spent the past week chasing juniors for their passport size photos and course fee for their basic/ advance nco course.
and what do i get out of it? ungrateful people saying that i keep bothering them.

last day of school was on friday. debby gave me chocolate, along with a note:) collected our report books. my report slip was depressing, and i only showed it to leongyew and michelle. had a committee meeting after school together with the sec 2s.

went to HQ to buy badges last monday, and had overnight duty during the weekend. this time it was the actual hometeamNS real run. the previous time was the trial run. anyway, my dad drove shiya and i to HQ. this time some sec twos came along and it was the first time they stayed overnight at HQ for public duty. had a briefing which was very similar to last last week's.

we played taidi and ate potato chips. had a conference at 12 midnight till my phone ran out of battery. managed to fall asleep this time, though only for a while, since it was so uncomfortable and cold. woke up around 4am to change into our full uniform. then we went back to the lecture room and received a walkie talkie for each spotter. so cool. lols. then we started playing with our new toy.

qiuyan and i were in spotter 4, and we were given a green first aid pouch. then we went up the bus. yunqian, me, amalina, shiya and shuangyu sat right at the back. upon reaching changi exhibition centre (CEC) we were given our breakfast- sandwiches with tuna and cucumber. eww. we were given a file for each station as well. sprayed 'off' insecticide on our arms and legs and waited for the ambulance to bring us to our station.

spotter 3, 4, and 5 shared an ambulance. we were the last to leave and control was doing a station check. so when sir did his station check through the walkie talkie, we had to reply him. so fun. lols. then qiu yan and i were dropped off at lamp post 121. we had to jump over this drain to get to this hut as our first aid point. then we sat there to chat while waiting for the race to start :)

when the race finally started, we saw a blur of participants running past. there were no casualties and it was so boring. had to battle mosquitoes too. after the last runner, we were instructed to walk to the nearest water point to meet spotter 3. nicholas shuangyu and debbie were there. after waiting for a long time, the ambulance arrived to bring us back to CEC. met up with the rest there and waited in a small white room for lunch.

the bus ride back to HQ was very bouncy and from the back, we saw that everyone was bouncing together, so we started laughing. lol. fell asleep on the way. back at HQ, we collected our goodie bags before changing and going home.

on monday morning, my mother woke me up for extra lessons but i told her i didnt want to go to school. so i went back to sleep and after that i told her i wanted to go to school. so i left and reached school 5 minutes before recess. lols. waited outside the chemistry lab, listening to mrs ooi's voice. elliot was the first to discover me standing there, sucking on a lollipop.

only attended two classes, english and chinese. teachers are so anxious, giving us so much homework. handed all the stuff i had to do for admin to ma'am yesterday. oh and doing chemistry practical with jiaying was fun :) we heated this solid thing in a test tube and realised we didnt see any changes because we forgot to add this acid thing, and when we did the whole thing just reacted and foamed up, surprising us. hahaha.

though we have a new chinese teacher, lessons are still as boring. on the other hand, mr latif is taking us for literature and our first lesson today was so interesting. he was so dramatic and funny too.

lunched with shiya, ruishan and josephine at long john silvers today. met yunqian and zhiwei at kfc. what's with the rubik's cube craze?

i'm so tired. never ending homework! i wanna take another half day off :D

almost forgot- today is halloween! :)
rewatched ouran high school host club episode 21 and makingfiends episode 5 for the umpteenth time. also played the halloween game. lols.

OBS pre course briefing

had to go all the way to kallang to attend the OBS pre course briefing. walked from the mrt station to the people's association building and got all drenched. lols. went into a room with yellow walls and chairs that looked soft and comfy at first but after sitting for a long time it became uncomfortable and i kept sliding down.

we were given our travel details, a file with other information and also a overseas youth programme guidebook in it. the instructor giving the talk went through all the details which we had to know and we were also given anti malaria tablets. after the talk we also collected a black t-shirt to wear to Brunei.

went to IMM by taking the free shuttle bus with Brenda and bought chicken and the sausage & egg crepe thingy to share for lunch. yums. oh, and the donuts there were so pretty :) walked around, looking at accessories before walking back to jurong east mrt station.



i realised that my attitude and mindset seems to have changed for the better. last time, he tried to teach me, but i just couldn't see it. this time, you showed me. i'm glad to be able to see things from a different perspective now :)

sometimes when i close my eyes, i see visions of the past. i wish to forget it all, but these visions just flash in my mind, whenever my thoughts wander at night before going to sleep. or when i just stare into blank space. memories still haunt me and i wont be able to sleep.

they say that time will heal all wounds, but what about the scars that are left behind?

learn to let go of the past, shi ting. you'd be happier that way.

first stjohn exco meeting

just came back from a st john meeting at jurong sub centre. promotion day, so there's no school. woke up late and received a call from my mother telling me not to do UNPRODUCTIVE THINGS, and do something PRODUCTIVE. yeap, that's my mom, with a superpower of being able to catch her daughter using the computer, slacking at home while she's at work nursing her psychiatric patient.

so, i went to do something productive. i went to finish up my math homework and read another S.A.S.S book- Pardon My French. previously i read Swede Dreams and i just started on Spain On Shine. these were the books vera recommended me to borrow the other day when we met, along with another book, 'Loving Danny'. the third productive thing i did was to start transferring the basic nco course record book to softcopy.

i can proudly say that i've done something productive today :)

met brenda by coincidence at choa chua kang mrt station when going to jurong. going for the OBS pre course briefing tomorrow morning. can you believe it? i'm going to Brunei and spend my birthday there, instead of organising a party. jungle trekking would make such a wonderful birthday present!

i think i'm only looking forward to white water rafting. heard that its fun. hope it really is a good experience like what everyone says. look how boring OBS Singapore turned out to be at the beginning of the year.

LEMON SMASH!

okay. so i was pretty depressed last thursday and friday when we got back our SA2 papers. but seriously, my marks are atroucious. then we received the physics paper on tuesday, after the holiday on monday. gosh, i failed terribly. oh well, shall not dwell on results any longer. i'm positive that i'll still get promoted to sec 4 next year because of my languages and humanities, but it i dont catch up on my math and science subjects, i'm toast.

last friday when i walked into the st john classroom after school, i was feeling pretty tired even though i did not participate in PE. seeing all my crappy results and going through test papers was enough to kill me. but at the sj classroom, some juniors talked to me and crapped, and this had cheered me up unknowingly :) went to the CCA room to take some record books while they had restock duty.

then sir came for the meeting that he had called for at 1.30pm. he spoke about CAA and how BGI has affected it, then about basic and advance nco course dates. we were all given st john stamps (limited edition! :D good for me, useful for cpbs) the sec ones left, and sir announced the committee for next year. yays. my post is separated again! haha. its too stressful for one person anyway.

on saturday night, dad drove shiya and i to st john headquarters for our public duty. attire was jeans with instructor tee, and when we reached hq, the front gate was closed. entering by the back, we saw some ambulance drivers sitting on the steps. we went into the building and it seemed pretty empty, but after hanging around for a while, sir came and brought us to one of the lecture rooms. he went to set up his laptop and we waited for the rest to come.

paying attention to the briefing, the slides on the screen showed that yunqian, jingyi and shuangyu were all separated at different spots. lols. me and shiya were together, lucky us! our post was at the mid point, with some other people whose names were unknown to us. after the briefing, we had supper and went to a lecture room to sleep. except that shiya and i didnt sleep at all. we played games on sir's laptop and watched 200 pounds beauty on crunchyroll. it was my second time watching it. most of the others fell asleep while watching, but surprisingly, i just couldnt sleep! was so frustrated. then we found this super funny game:


Lemon Smash



it was soo entertaining to us. shuangyu, yunqian, shiya and i took turns trying to beat each other's score. and we kept laughing at the person smashing the lemons. so dumb. hahas.

in the end ma'am liping, shuangyu, yunqian and jingyi all had some sleep except shiya and i. so we went to get some coffee :) at around 5am, we went to the back of hq to report and got into the back of a mini bus. strangely, i fell asleep quickly during the bumpy ride. we passed the changi airport and reached a place where the ground seemed like it would lead to nowhere. since it was still dark, we could see many stars shining in the sky. then we ate our breakfast- sausage macmuffin burger. we were also given a bottle of water before we were driven off to our stations.

after rotting for a while at where we were dropped off, we were told to go to mid point 2. an ambulance drove us there when we met our station i/c and another guy from our station. the station i/c went back to mid point 1 and the other guy brought us to mid point 2. didnt talk much to him, just crapped with shiya all the way. shiya had to carry this red backpack first aid kit which was so high. lols. so funny. then we reached our station and waited for the race to start. our station was the part when the runners come running on the track and would have to turn back and take the route along the beach. there were marshalls to direct the runners too. that guy with us wearing a zone 7 t-shirt (didnt know his name, LOL) told shiya to stand by the track while i stood by the beach to see if anyone would suddenly faint while running along the beach. and i so hated my spot near the beach! i was having a war with the ants- one crawled up my leg, another crawled up my back. the worst one was when a red ant crawled up my neck. gross! the flies and bees around were very irritating too.

and i thought the beach view would be nice, but when you look in the direction of the race for any casualties for quite a long time, your eyes get tired because of the scorching sun reflecting the light onto the water. the last runners were 3 girls running together, and the whole race ended pretty quickly. while waiting for the ambulance to come and pick us up, the three of us crapped. then we went back to the starting point before heading back to hq. was very very tired by then. at hq, we had a filet o fish burger for lunch and had to wait for sir to come back to collect our bags which we left in his car earlier in the morning. then we walked to lavender mrt station to go home. slep through the train ride and went home thinking that i shouldnt sleep anymore until at night, but i couldnt help it and i fell asleep on the sofa.

i woke up on monday in my own bed, wondering what had happened. when mother called home to check on my and jie, she told me that i fell asleep and my aunt came so she told me to go to my room and sleep. the weird thing was i dont remember going to my room and i did not have dinner. i just slept for 18 hours straight, from 2pm to 8am.

went to school reluctantly on tuesday and got back our physics paper. after school, shahilla, nureen and i went to suhailah's house to do our chemistry project on ammonia. as 77 was packed, we shared a cab and finished the project in one hour plus. i did the typing as usual :)

on wednesday, the papers which listed our overall results for semester two was being passed around. how depressing D: during the first lesson, mr goh didnt teach but just flashed a list of our marks according to how much we improved. then he showed another list which was from the highest to the lowest. congrats mr goh, i knew you'd demoralise me in some way or another. it was just was so unlike you when you gave out the physics papers on tuesday, not uttering a single word of "encouragement" to me.

played a bit of badminton during PE but got bored so just sat down to chat with melina and chrystabel. after school, i walked past the st john classroom and passed this piece of paper which i photocopied at home to liping and huifen, which had the duties of secretary and the list of brigade forms on it. ate lunch with melina and shiya at kfc. melina went off first while shiya and i walked around westmall. shiya spotted mrs teo so i went to talk to her :) our conversation went like this:

me: hello mrs teo!
mrs teo: (surprised) oh hello! wah, your voice sounds so sweet.
me: haha. how come i dont see you in school anymore?
mrs teo: oh. i'm going to start teaching in a new school in january. because i stay in punggol, which is quite far.
me: oh. which school is that?
mrs teo: holy innocents.
me: oh okay.
mrs teo: are you taking the 'O' levels?
me: um, yah. next year.

then we said our goodbyes. i kinda miss her as our form teacher last year, during the sec two times. went home to check my e-mail as instructed.

had two free lessons today! :) chemistry and literature. used chemistry to do my incomplete social studies homework. i still dont understand the new topic, so i'm going to try to understand it tomorrow as it is promotion day and there is no school. had a few good laughs during the last lesson. mrs toh talked to us about the same thing that ms lau mentioned during social studies. lols. met the sec ones and twos after school for them to fill up the application form for their basic and advance course. i think it was the first time that i had seen the sec ones and twos together in the same room with no officers around, being so quiet as they filled up the form. lols. lunched with shiya and headed home.

okay i'm done blogging. as i've said, i lost my blogging power! i need to get it back..

EXAMS ARE OVER! :D

thursday was my last paper- chemistry. i think i failed but ITS OKAY(: the bio students had their last paper a day later. haha. vera's last paper is on tuesday, so we went out to celebrate. borrowed some books at the jurong regional library before having lunch and taking two sets of neoprints. had loads to talk to her about as well, whether it was chatting in real life on saturday or crapping over the phone on friday night.

sorry for not updating for like two weeks, was busy being GUAI and STUDIED! but i still dont know how to study properly, since i have a bad feeling about this year's SA2. i shouldnt have tried to study. i think i do worse when i study, because last year i dont remember studying much and i got better results than this year's results so far.

went to causeway point the next day and had dinner with my parents at crystal jade kitchen. had my favourite dish as usual and went to mini-bits to buy some dangly earrings(:

on monday we had post exam activities. oh wait, before going into that.. NUREEN PON-ED SCHOOL! lol. for the first time, she poned instead of me. hahas. im becoming a guai kia! so in the morning, we had this stupid workshop telling us about self-esteem, that there is a diamond in you and you have to push away negative thoughts, blahblahs. when the speaker (coach anne) was trying to motivate us, my train of thoughts were either "this sounds so like paul" or "will leyu samuel and leongyew stop talking about physics?" and even "oh look, cecilia seems to be sleeping".. oh and of course "i'm bored, shall kick michelle's chair"

haha. but seriously, the 3 guys sitting behind (bryant poned, so he was excluded from their genius gang that day) couldn't stop talking about physics or chemistry. like, when there was this part about salt, samuel started saying something about potassium. and he got quite enthusiastic about it too until melina told them to stop talking science. so ly told him to shh. and i think they talked about center of gravity as well.

after the workshop, we had to form our groups for the amazing race a vivocity. denise and melina both asked me to join their groups so i thought about it for a while and chose to join jiaying, vanessa, chrystabel and melina. jiaying was our group leader of course. went to the toilet, and after a while i realised that the whole group were the only ones left in the toilet. so i said something like, as a group we even go to the toilet together. ahahah.

went to the quadrangle to report. received two booklets, one had instructions for what to do at each station and the other was a map of vivocity and the list of stores inside. inside the bus, alan, kenneth, jack and irvin started singing this 99 bottles of beer song. it was so funny and entertaining. they sung from 99 all the way to 50 or 60 plus, when cassandra and farah played the spongebob theme song on their handphone. so the guys stopped and in the end the class started singing the spongebob suqarepants theme song. oh, and they also sang that campfire song from spongebob as well. lol. then they continued with the bottles of beer until they were down to no more bottles of beer.

we alighted from the bus and waited outside vivocity for the rest of the classes to arrive. then the amazing race started. our group first went to the hawker centre because we knew where it was as we ate there last year before going to sentosa for the 2e6 chalet. had to do the ping pong thingy then went to the bus interchange. went to interview this australian couple, find out how much it cost to send a package to germany at the post office, and went to st.james power station to do this green heart thingy. went to the money changer, the playground to toss this dice (melina threw it on the first try and got a 6 straight away) and walked along the promenade to draw that flower and went to the wading pool to do the duckie thingy. and also the make sure egg doesnt crack thing. the only thing we missed out was the DIY shop thing.

so i guess i was pretty fun. to think that in the morning, i was complaining to yunqian saying how i should've poned school. lols. in the bus on the way back, mdm yeo told the guys not to sing so the ride back to school was pretty quiet. listened to my mp3 on the way back and then went to the hall for a debrief. wendy's group won the amazing race(: and kaiherng's group got second.

went to westmall and lunched with vanessa, shiya and melina. clive surprised shiya by appearing behind her through the glass panes of kfc. lols. met khadeza, michelle and ruonan too.


marking days were on tuesday and wednesday this week, and time passes pretty quickly. yesterday shiya, chrystabel and i met up and had no idea where to go, so we just stared at the MRT map. we called ourselves aimless people on the train before we finally decided to go to cineleisure. lunched and bought tickets to watch the nanny diaries. had to go all the way to level 9 to watch the movie, and i was the only one who didn't bring a jacket. ahhs. thought i was so dead. the threatre was quite nice, and though it was cold, i managed to survive. haha. the movie was quite nice. at one point, we could hear sobs from behind us.

after the movie, we went to jurong entertainment centre to take neoprints(: went to the same machine that vera and i took on saturday.



didnt do much today, had a visitor in the morning and was bored in the afternoon. mother brought me out to dinner for some japanese food- fried beef which tasted like chopsticks. seriously. when i picked the meat from my chopsticks and chewed on it, i thought i was eating my chopsticks. went for a haircut. i look so toot now, my sister says i have "gong" fringe. so dont laugh at me tomorrow.

i dont wish to get my results either. or go through test papers. its just depressing.
