So this is how a mouth ulcer feels like.

I played this song on guitar hero! :D

Living Colour - Cult of Personality

Look in my eyes, what do you see?
The Cult of Personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you wanna be
I'm the Cult of Personality
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the Cult of Personality
The Cult of Personality
The Cult of Personality

Neon lights, Nobel Prize
When a mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You don't have to follow me
Only you can set me free
I sell the things you need to be
I'm the smiling face on your T.V.
I'm the Cult of Personality
I exploit you; still you love me

I tell you one and one makes three
I'm the Cult of Personality
Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi
I'm the Cult of Personality
The Cult of Personality
The Cult of Personality

I let the prefect confiscate my handphone as I was late for school, and haven't got it back 'cause I couldn't find Yunqian to go and do detention with me. But it's okay, because nobody would be able to bother me unless they have my house number. And it isn't fair in the first place, since 77A was so crowded and I had to take 77, which initially followed right behind 77A but had to keep stopping for other passengers.

Suddenly developed a mouth ulcer on Saturday, which is still there now. Never had one before, so know I know how it feels like, and how people were exaggerating when they said it was really, really painful. Vanessa plucked out one strand of white hair from my head the other day last week, during literature. Yeah, signs of stress that the preliminary examinations are coming in about twenty more days, are evident.

Played mini tennis again for PE. Grouped with Chrystabel, Melina and Vanessa (the pro one), versus Suhailah (the crazy one), Shahilah, Denise and Jia Ying. Fun! But it was so hot that the basketball court seemed to be glowing. The rest of the day was quite slack. After lunch, Nureen, Brenda, Cecilia, Wy-lin, Josephine and I were, according to Ms Lau, ten minutes late for the combined social studies workshop lesson with 4E1 today at the AVT.

Went home with Wy-lin and Josephine after not being able to find Yunqian. Oh, and while looking for her, Ngai Fong, Xin Ying and Hui Fen passed me the invitation to this Friday's P.O.P. And I was surprised, so I went like, "WHAT? This Friday ah? So fast?", or something. But I like the burnt-like paper decoration, as well as the barcode with the cats beside it. Cute! Then they asked me if I'd seen the rest, and I happened to see Shiya at the fourth floor so I pointed her out for them. And I have to find my velcro and get it sewn back on before Friday. Too lazy to pin the badges up on my uniform, one by one.

Actually, I knew that the passing out parade was coming soon, because I saw my juniors getting together and discussing something secretly. So it's quite obvious. It just makes me wonder if they will be able to successfully make us cry or something.

Didn't need to stay back after chemistry remedial yesterday, as I didn't fail the chemistry surprise test. Which was really surprising that I didn't fail. Melina marked my paper and I marked Pei Jun's. And I got the same marks as Leyu! But it doesn't mean anything, because I was making wild guesses while doing the questions, and I almost fell asleep until Bryant wanted to confirm with Mrs Ooi that question 32 wasn't in our syllabus. Plus I copied four answers from Samuel's paper when he lifted it up.

We sang happy birthday to Bryant at the start of the test too. But the funny thing is that he ended up failing the test because he claims that he anyhow do, so he left a lot of questions blank. Oh, and did I mention that we had three surprises tests yesterday? Namely, literature, e-math and chemistry.

There was a physics test too, for half an hour, after our class was sent to the physics lab to get scolded by Mr. Quek just because we didn't put the apparatus back the way it originally was. And Jia Ying was one of the seven who had to stay back, which made me feel guilty because I'm her lab partner. But it's ok as I heard from Josephine that Mr. Quek told them to leave so they didn't have to reset the apparatus which was supposed to be their punishment.

But I think that it's quite unfair for him to shout at us, considering that when I reached my table in the physics lab last thursday, the batteries were already connected (as in, already pushed in and wasting away electricity) and so was the voltmeter.

Went to Vivocity for some shopping with my sis and my mum on Sunday, and also to change my mobile plan to the student one. Unlimited smses! It will take effect next month. Bought a bag too. On the way home, my father wanted to confiscate my handphone because my parents think it is a distraction, and he was like, telling my mother that changing my plan was encouraging me to use the phone more.

I think my family is weird, because they are all freaking out that I can be so relaxed and tell them that the prelims are in 20 days and the first paper of the 'O' levels will be 26 days after the prelims, and not do anything about it (i.e. start mugging, doing TYS or whatever shit). They think I do not have a sense of urgency and are worried that I cannot get into a JC. And we happened to drive past MI, as well as PEPS and the half completed construction of the new BBSS. So I was like, "Ooooh, look at MI! Isn't it pretty? Maybe I can go there if I get above twenty points for my 'O' levels."

Which obviously is the wrong thing to say.

The Legend!

I'm not supposed to be here but it's my sister's fault for switching on the computer in the living room and not using it! And anyway, I'm already done with the tuition homework which my teacher issued to us today.

Watched the last episode of 'The Legend' just now! The show had such an ambiguous ending. The director had probably crafted it to be that way on purpose, so that it will linger in the minds of the viewers for a longer period of time, just like 'Off Centre'.

Anyway, 太王四神记 is so nice! Sujini is my favourite character because she's a great archer and also because she's able to put aside her feelings for the king by runing away when Hyeongo revealed to her that she was the dark phoenix. She also raised Kiha's baby as her own. And she's so funny, drinking wine all the time.

Some people think that Kiha deserved to be killed, but I don't think so, because by breaking the Heavenly Bow, Damdeok was able to stop history from repeating itself by his sacrificing his life and returning the four totems which held the powers of the four gods, back to heaven, since they didn't belong on earth anyway as it caused so much chaos, with the fire clan people wanting to attain the power of heaven and what not.

Weird ending, with the narrator saying what a good king he was and all, but I sort of get it. And I enjoyed the entire drama so much that I want the DVD! Even if it's rated NC16 because of the violence. Lee Ji Ah and Bae Yong Jun totally deserved the best couple award at the 2007 MBC Drama Awards thingy.

Cats in looooove! lol.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE! :)
Hope you like the present!

Other people in class!

Well wishes!

As you can see, I took a photo of every single page. Yeap, I really have nothing better to do. Had three surprise tests today! Social studies, chemistry and e math. I've been slacking a lot.

Just got off the phone with Vera! Had talked for an hour.

Officially going on hiatus as of today. I won't be even posting photos. Plus, it's also my fault that my phone bill exploded (again). Mrs Toh would say that "it was the straw that broke the camel's back", while Alan or whoever would be like, "aiyah, just say the last straw lah!"

Hello:)

Yay! I'm using the computer in the school library for the very first time. Hahaha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!
Hope you like the scrapbook! We had much difficulty hiding it from you until today.

racial harmony day

13th July, National First Aid Competition:

I was walking to my block one day and felt that something was missing:

Our first literature afternoon lesson was totally hilarious:

The view of the full moon from my bedroom window:

21st July, Racial Harmony Day!

Everyone I knew was so excited about today. Seriously. Received lots and lots of text messages about it the previous night.

I missed my nan hua-ish braids! And it goes with my chinesesy top, so i thought, why not?

4E2 was the most colourful class today. Even Ms. Lau said so. Which reminds me: Why didn't we take a class photo hur?

After changing our of our costumes, I was feeling high because my handphone camera was functioning well enough to take the photos below.

Many said that I looked cute in braids today. This is only because everyone in school ties their hair into a ponytail. In nan hua primary/secondary, braids aren't considered cute because everyone who has long hair has to tie braids. It's a common sight, and also a school rule.

There's a bunch of people who are supposed to send me more photos!

4E2 class photos!

I've just scanned the class photos we received last thursday! My mother and sister both said that Michelle and Brenda are the prettiest, while Leong Yew is the most handsome. I think he's just photogenic lah. And I have no idea why I always have the tendency to cut my hair at the wrong time.

Stupid preliminary emaminations. This is my last minute to use the computer while I'm drinking this mogu mogu lychee juice. Sounds cute right? There are little pulps of lychee in it too. Oh, and I just had this strawberry shortcake as well. Delicious Saturday tea break.

youth day 08!

Some outdated photos!

Chinese new year:

After eating at macdonalds one day:

31st May, band concert:

The day Michelle retrieved a blue's clues soft toy dangling from the school gate and i suggested for it to be placed up on the tree because it reminded me of what Boo Radley did in 'To Kill a Mockingbird':

5th June, 6B gathering at vivocity:

24th June, St. John day:

My sister used some special glue to help me stick the purple beads i had left from the chemistry paper weight making thing, onto my phone:

Junyan got me a cup as a souvenir from Japan!

27th June: Watched Penelope with my sister at causeway point. She got her ticket at the $6 student price too, thanks to my ezlink card. Had dinner at lot 1.

30th June: Chinese oral.
4th July: Watched Hancock with Hongyong at cineleisure.

And finally, 7th July, youth day! Went to watch the movie, Ten Promises to my Dog, at Jurong Point! Michelle and i cried at the part when the dog died.

The korean show I was watching on tv just ended, which means that I can't use the computer anymore.

Did I mention that my mother bought me a nikon coolpix L16 camera? Expect my entries to have more photos and less words. Well, at least until after the 'O' levels, when I would have the time to actually blog.
