Boos and Yays.

Yay! As I said, I changed my blogskin to one of the blogger layouts two nights ago.

Went to visit my Ah Ma yesterday! My mum and I brought some food and stuff for her, as well as a bag, some books and playstation games for my cousins. Ate lunch there and watched TV. Nothing much happened; my mum talked to her parents in hokkien and I stoned. Heard Ah Ma comparing me to my cousin who's of the same age but I didn't really bother. And again the remark about me being taller than my mother and my sister.

I joined some groups on facebook!

Shi Ting joined the groups No, I Don't Care If I Die At 12AM, I Refuse To Pass
On Your Chain Letter., I Use my Cell Phone to See in the Dark and I Dont care
How Comfortable Crocs Are, You Look Like A Dumbass.

Hahaha. Funny! And so true.

I started using MSN messenger in primary 4 and it was also then that I started receiving chain letters from my friends. And with the better-be-safe-than-sorry attitude, I passed on those chain letters to all of my other friends.

But now I don't do that anymore, because it's stupid and the same chain letters keep coming back to me. Even those that I have already received in p4, because everyone keeps passing them on. Which was like, e-mails from six years ago! It's so annoying.

After I realised all this, I stopped passing on all those stupid chain letters and delete them once I see something lame, like getting murdered in bed in the middle of the night, or getting lousy grades if you don't pass it on.

And hello? I'm still alive, sitting here typing this post. Wow. Isn't that fascinating? Now, I only forward e-mails with cute pictures of dogs and cats in it. And those that make me laugh.

Secondly, I use my handphone to see in the dark. It's true. Most of the time, I'm the last one to go to bed, so I have to switch off all the lights. Then I wouldn't be able to see a damn thing, so I use the light from my handphone to lead me to my bed.

My mother thinks that I won't be able to live without my cell phone which is NOT TRUE! (Even though I did freak out a bit at the 2E6 chalet this year when I realised that I forgot to bring my charger) It's just that I'm quite reliant on it. I text message a lot and I use my handphone as a calculator, as well as a clock.

My handphone is funny because there's something wrong with the camera. I dropped it before prom and when I want to take photos, it will say "Camera failed". During prom I dropped it a few times, and the next day it could work! Then I dropped it at home and now it's not working. AGAIN. It has been like that for at least one year already. Booooo.

Last of all, I think that crocs are fugly. If you've been reading my blog you'd know, because I think I did blog about Mdm Wan wearing crocs to class, which is disgusting.

And it was even a trend at that time. I could see many people - especially small kids and the adults who are with them - wearing crocs of all kinds of different colours. Thank goodness that the trend has passed!

I watched the movie, 恋空/ Sky of Love this morning! Amalina lent me the DVD! Haha. She told me that I would surely cry, and I did! Even when the storyline was cliche!

Anyway, to sum it up, the movie is about this girl, Mika, who falls in love with Hiro and because Hiro finds out that he has cancer, he breaks up with her. She doesn't know about his illness, is devasted, tries to get over it and meets another guy, Yu. But when Nozomu tells her about Hiro's illness she goes back to him because she still loves him and it's true love! Yay! But in the end he dies. Boo.

It's just like Low Kay Hua's book, I Believe You. Joanna, who thinks that she is cursed, falls in love with Jacky, who suffers from some kind of illness. Though he had told her that she must never, ever fall in love with him, Jacky loves her back and helped her a lot.

Except that when I read that book a few years ago, I didn't cry because I wasn't that emotional. And I have no idea why I'm more emotional now than I was before.

New clothes for the new year!

I changed my blogskin to this neon blue one yesterday, but I don't really like the links being up there and I'm lazy to shift them anywhere else, so I think I'll switch back to the blogger layout when I have the time.

Went for a shopping spree at Lot 1 today with my mum! Oh my gosh, I didn't know I would buy so many clothes! And my mother was willing to spend and get me new clothes because she saw that I kept wearing the same ones from Mango so yay! Clothes for the new year!

First, we went to this shop and was just browsing through some clothes when this salesgirl came up to us very enthusiastically, and before I know it, I was brought to the fitting room with 4 tops and 1 skirt to try. Had to try all of them and show my mum. Then I told her that I liked the skirt and 2 of the shirts, and I thought that was it, I'm getting these three items and we're leaving.

But noooo, the salesgirl pops out and gets me to try on another skirt. Then my mother asked her if they had any three quarter pants for me to try. So she got 3 pants for me to try, too.

I didn't like the other skirt, as well as the pants. Again, I told my mother what I wanted and we went to the cashier. Then the cashier told us to buy above $200 and get the membership card so that next time we'll get a 10% discount. So my mother decided to buy one of the shirts that I had tried on, as well as the skirt and pants which I didn't like.

Boo. I don't like that shirt but mum says that I look nice in it? I don't think so! And I'm OK with the skirt, but not the pants.

So my mum applied for the membership card and got it straight away. Other than mentos, took free, empty ang paos from the counter as well.

Anyway, we were off to the second clothes store. Got to try the three quarter pants I've been eyeing on. The salesgirl at this other store was also quite helpful, but thankfully not TOO helpful because I didn't want another round of trying on so many clothes likes there's no tomorrow.

I tried on a pair of jeans too, which are nice. The salesgirl said that I have long legs and got me to try on another pair of jeans which are not so nice. So I just got a pair of jeans and the three quarter pants I wanted. Yay!

Paid, went to NTUC, and on the way home, I told my mother I didn't want that skirt and pants and top from the first store we went to. And again, she insisted that I looked nice in that shirt, and even if I didn't want the skirt or pants she can give it to my sister.

And anyway, she just wanted the membership card.

Like, whatever. I doubt that my sister would wear those pants. Mum also said that I don't have to go shopping anymore for the whole of next year.

So YAY! I like that skirt and that three quarter pants and that pair of jeans and those 2 tops! Are you confused? I'm making myself confused. I'm typing this post too quickly till I don't know what I'm typing.

Christmas!

I'm so tired now but I'm still updating! :D

Okay. On 19th December, I met up with Jiaying and Chrystabel to go to the Christmas party Melina invited us to! Turns out that the event was at Ronaldo's house. Been to that condo before. Haha. Anyway, there were games, performances, and even a magic show!

We only ate at 9pm which wasn't very healthy, and even though I don't know like, half the people there, I did have fun!

Group photo!

With Jiaying and Chrystabel!

The next day was a Saturday, and I went out with my parents. Mum and I went to OG while Dad went to Sim Lim Square.

Finally bought a swim suit! Haha. It is a two piece suit and it's blue in colour. There's nothing special about it, and it's plain, but it was on sale! Totally worth the cash. (And like duh, my Mum doesn't want me to wear anything too expensive, too short or too sexy)

We redeemed a free pearl at this counter with our reciept. There's always something to redeem at OG! Haha. Anyway, the people at the counter were busy cutting open the oysters, taking the pearl out and then dipping it into water before giving it to us.

After shopping at OG we went to Bugis Junction to shop some more. On the way, I bought a white pair of sunglasses! It costs only eight dollars plus!

Then we found Dad in his silver van and he drove us to Sheng Siong, where we bough groceries before going home. Yay, got them to buy Ferraro Rocher (which was packed in a bell shaped container with a yellow ribbon on top) and two cans of Pringles. Love them salty chips.

On Sunday, I was playing games on the computer and finished a can of Pringles (salt and pepper flavour! Yayy!) when I suddenly realised that I had to go for St. John BBQ! Just came out of the shower with a towel on when Shiya called, and I was telling my sister, "But how can I answer the phone?!? I'm not wearing anything!" And so told Shiya over the phone, "Erm, she's not wearing anything decent, I'll ask her to call you back in 5 minutes."

What the hell! LOL.

Had some of Mum's fried rice before going. Met Shiya and Amalina at CCK. They said that they came from Jurong Point. Then we met the rest at Bukit Batok. Yunqian and Atiqah were late as they came from Boon Lay as well. (which was such a "coincidence" and I was so retarded not to have realised!) Got to the BBQ area and started writing in the scrap book made for Amalina. Yay!

Dennis served us drinks and even asked if we needed a refill. Haha. Like he was our waiter! Qian Huai was the only sec one there. All the sec two and three girls were there. Our seniors and officers were there too.

Shiya, Amalina, Yunqian and I went to play at this playground. Then we ate some food before going to the Community Centre to use the toilet there. It was very crowded at the CC because there was some Christmas party going on there. We wanted to buy tickets so that we could buy popcorn, candy floss, or take part in the games, but the tickets were sold out!

So we just bought this bowl of dessert for $1. I think we looked quite pathetic because the four of us shared one bowl! Lol! There were two cats stoning beside one another near the void deck. Then when we were leaving, the black one started chasing the white one and it ran into a car! Hahaha.

Went back to the BBQ pit for satays and prawns. Sat with the sec twos. Later, Atiqah had to perform a dare which was to pole dance and to ask this passerby for his number. Hahaha! Then Yunqian had to give a candy cane to this other guy.

Was about to go off when Shiya gave me this card and present! Yay! It was from her, Yunqian, Atiqah, and Amalina. THANKS! I really love the present (matching earrings and necklace)! :D

Got a lift from Shiya's dad and in the truck, Shiya told me that they went to Jurong Point to get my present before the BBQ. And I went home feeling a bit dumb for not suspecting anything. Hahaha.

On Monday, I met Michelle and LY at CCK MRT. They were a bit late because Michelle had lost her Ezlink card at Bukit Batok. At Lot 1, Melina called to say that she saw us. Lol! Yeah, I was being the lamp post there okay!

Ate at the food court and took the bus to Plaza Singapura to meet Mark. He told us that he was eating at Macdonald's, so the three of us looked into the fast food restaurant, wondering why he wasn't there, while he came from behind to surprise us, but failed. Booo. Then we went to Cathay to buy tickets to watch Yes Man.

And because the cinema was too packed, Michelle and I sat in the front row together! Booo. LY sat behind us while Mark sat diagonally behind LY. Even though our seating arrangement sucked, the movie was nice! And it was really funny. Yay Jim Carrey! I don't mind watching the movie again.

Went to Raffles City to window shop before eating dinner at The Food Place! (Don't you just love the name of the food court? It's like, The Body Shop. The Face Shop. Straight to the point and not something stupid!) Saw pretty clothes which I couldn't afford to buy. Boohoos. Ate from the same stall when I went out to watch Bolt with Melina and Chrystabel. Yay!

I was eating when I heard Mark trying to hold his laughter. So I stopped eating and stared at him and he said that I looked like a hamster?! What the hell!

Oh yeah, and Mark kept bullying me by trying to make me crash into walls and by trying to trip me! And by trying to poke me as well. Booo him. Oh yeah, and by suaning me about my height - just because he's one head taller than me! Booooo! I'm the tallest among the sec fours in my CCA, as well as in my family okay! And I'm supposed to have short genes!

Anyway, after dinner, LY and Michelle took the bus back while Mark and I took the train (but we went back by different routes). Oh, and Michelle got me a birthday present from Indonesia! Thanks! :D

I thought I could stone at home on Tuesday but my Mum was on leave so she brought my sister and I out. I was pissed because she woke me up in the morning and I was still really sleepy and kept rubbing my eyes on the way to Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

My sister and I waited for our mother to come out of the clinic so we talked and stoned there. The funny part was when we were talking about what our parents. They had quarrelled over biscuits, nuts and the TV. Lol! And my sister said that mother was actually talking about her general discontentment in the marriage, but used biscuits as her talking point. Hahaha.

Anyway, the doctor was the one who delivered my sister and I, and my mum said that he likes to see the babies he had delivered because there's a sense of achievement. So after her check up, mum asked us to go in to see the doctor, who was nice and told us that he was going to perform a magic trick. My sister was like, "But I'm nineteen!!" Lol!

After the magic trick, we went to Wistma Atria to have teppanyaki for lunch. Went shopping at Paragon and Far East Plaza as well.

Oh, and at Far East Plaza we decided to have dinner at Ramen Ten and my legs were tired while mother was still chatting away with the waitress at the front of the restaurant, so I was irritated and the food I ordered got stuck in my teeth and it hurt, so I pushed everything away and I refused to eat. Then I vowed not to eat at Ramen Ten again.

Sorry lah, I was so PMS-ing! (premenstrual syndrome)
When I have moodswings and become really grouchy and irritated at everything, it's a sign. And only my mother is able to tell. Hahah.

Forgot to add that we saw them filming the 女人大主义 show at Far East Plaza. I liked the episode last week.

Yay! Finally almost done with this entry, and it starts to rain all of a sudden!

Taken on the day I went out with nureen:)

I didn't go out this christmas! Boooo. I was at home on Christmas eve AND on Christmas day. There was supposed to be a family gathering on Christmas day but it was cancelled because the response was not very good. Yay no gathering! 'Cause family gatherings are boring. But boo, now the gathering is postponed to new year's day.

Shrek the Halls is nice! Puss in Boots was so cute when he was telling his version of a Christmas story. Especially when he played with the ball at the end of his Santa hat! Cute!!!!

I want to watch Bedtime Stories!

Picnic next week! :D

Twilight

I went to watch Twilight with Chrystabel, Xueli, Shiya, and Shiya's little brother at Bishan Junction 8 today. We met at CCK. Xueli was late!

Bought tickets, ate lunch, and went into the predictably packed cinema. Got seats six rows from the front and we were all lying on the chairs, heads tilted to the big screen.

It was supposed to be the highlight of the day because the point of going out was to watch this movie, since almost everyone I know is obsessed with the book and these people keep bugging me to read it.

And those people who have already watched the movie said that if you didn't read the book, you'd think that the movie is nice. But if you have read the book, you'd think that the movie was lousy because the book was so much nicer.

But this is so not true.

Because I have not read the book at all and I found that the movie was utterly disappointing. By some point during the movie, I didn't feel like watching it anymore, because it was getting boring. I was sinking further into the chair, until the baseball scene. There was some action (at the part when James almost kills Bella) which made me sit up a little, but it ended too soon.

The girls were talking about how Bella and Edward could fall in love that quickly, which is true, because I'm sure there were livelier dialogues in the book. I mean, the book couldn't have been that gloomy and dull, or it couldn't have become the best selling book right?

I just told my sister that Twilight, the movie, was lousy and she was like, "See! I told you so."

I went, "Nooo, you didn't tell me!"

And she was like, "Oh. But I remember telling a lot of people that the movie sucks."

Anyway, we walked around, shopped and went to the arcade. Played Daytona twice and won both games! Yay. Then we decided to have dinner together. Being indecisive people, we didn't know where to go for dinner. Lol. So we went to Causeway Point first as Chrystabel said, "哎呀,船到桥头自然直!"

Then we ended up eating at Pizzahut.

The waiter was really funny. We asked him what the difference was between a Hawaiian pizza and a Super Hawaiian pizza and he got it wrong by saying it the other way round. Haha. Then he corrected himself lah. And when he was writing the order down he dropped his pen. Maybe he's new or it's his first time taking orders. Or maybe, somehow, we made him nervous. Lol!

Came back in time to meet Brenda (the sec three girl who's my neighbour) to pass her a pair of PE shorts, but not before watching a bit of 心花朵朵开2. My mum and I didn't watch the first part but since she wants to watch Patricia Mok being the 大嘴巫婆 in the show, I watch it with her. Haha. And local dramas are easy to catch up with, anyway.

Besides, it has got to be better than watching 不良笑花 on Channel U because I find the main actress really retarded, really annoying, and really revolting. I couldn't stand watching the show for barely ten minutes.

I'm so bored that I'm doing this quiz

This quiz is from Debby's blog! And YAY, Michelle is back! :D

Nope.

I've got mail!

Random photo which was taken on National Day this year:

Those who wished me happy belated birthday!
>> Wen Ting, Yi Ting, Junyan, Hong Yong, Vanessa, Hadi (OBBD)

Collected the mail today and found 3 letters addressed to me!

The first one was about the Eagles Award, which isn't a big deal because I got the certificate during prom night already. The big deal was that all the seven of us sec fours from St. John received it! So yay!

The second one was a birthday card from Vanessa! I was surprised to see that the card was filled with orange words on the inside.

I lol-ed at something she wrote in the card! (Okay lah, this picture a bit fake. Was being 自恋 again. Like as if I could foresee that I'd laugh and capture the moment on camera right.)

Anyway, YAY, thanks vv! :D

The third letter looked really similar to the first one. It was to congratulate me for making good progress in my studies and to inform me that I'll receive...

A Good Progress Award??

Wait, WHAT good progress????? I mean, I still failed both my sciences for prelims and my L1R5 was still above twenty. What progress is that? O.O

I was telling my mother this because I was very surprised as I didn't think I made good progress to get a good progress award, and she was like, telling me, "You improved on your E Math and A Math what."

And I was like, soo? And she was like, maybe this award is chosen by the teachers. Then she reminded me that I received one in P4 and maybe it was because Mr. Kang decided to give it to me.

That makes sense because I remember that even though I received a Good Progress Award in primary four, I don't think I really made good progress because I was the only girl from 4D who was posted to 5B, which turned out to be the most notorious class the following year.

Speaking of that, when's the next class gathering hur?

I hope I get good enough results to get into a JC! And I'm not asking for much, I just wanna go to PJC because it's really near.

Oh yeah, and when my sister came home today, the first thing she did was to dump this burger king paper hat on top of my head. Lol! The rules written on the hat are amusing.

Sweet sixteen!

YAY! It's my birthday!

Those who wished after midnight! (somewhat in order)
>> Nureen, Vera, Mark, Debby, Melina, Bryant, Jiaying, Ming Shen, Paul.

And more wished today!
>> Shiya, Josephine, Xueli, Maria, Jack, Zhengjie, Yunqian, Kuan Keong, Hui Fen, Brenda, Zirah (OBBD), Pei Jun.

Michelle text messaged me from Indonesia! YAY! I'm so honoured.

Not forgetting those who wished on facebook!

I talked to Mark over the phone for almost two hours. Told him I was born at 12:48am and he called a minute earlier. I can't believe we talked for so long. He surprised me at the MRT station and gave me a soft toy pooh today! Yay, thanks.

And I realised that my soft toy cat and my neopets account have been with me for half my life. Hahaha.

Thanks to all who wished! :D

I'm going to be 16!

First of all, thanks to all those who wished me happy birthday in advance! :D
>> Leongyew, Jiaying, Jiajun, Junyan, Hong Yong, Paul, Shiya, Xueli, Chrystabel, Melina, Ai Ling (A Math tuition teacher), Wei Jie, Matthew.

Last Saturday, my dad brought my mum and I to have steamboat at beach road.

It was a miracle! My parents actually didn't quarrel with one another. Anyway, the place we went to is called 大长今韩国烤肉 or something.

On Wednesday, I was prepared to rot at home and was using the computer when suddenly the house phone rang. It was Chrystabel and she was like, “诗雅要请你去吃午餐!”,and in the background I could hear Shiya saying, “我没有啦!” And so I asked her who she was with and heard Xueli's voice in the background too. They were all at Shiya's house.

So I met them at Lot 1 to have lunch together. Shiya brought her younger brother along, who said he wanted to eat at Long John Silver's and so we did. Then we walked around and bought some stuff. Decided to go home and Shiya was like telling Chrystabel, “你忘了我们今天出来的目的吗?”

And so they gave me a jar of cookies as my early birthday present! Yay! They made it at Shiya's house in the morning. THANKS!

Purple words and purple ribbon!

Okay, the cookies look really sweet and I've only eaten one so far. Chrystabel says that there's an S-shaped cookie inside! And there are like, so many cookies! 她们想甜死我啊!

And it was my mother's birthday (11th December) so happy 47th birthday to her! Chrystabel was like saying that it was her mother's birthday too! What a coincidence. Shiya joked that they might be long lost sisters. Hahaha.

Oh oh. I just came back from the outing with Melina and Chrystabel!

We were sitting on the green chair. Green is my second favourite colour, by the way.

Melina took an uber long time in the toilet and I was bored!

We went to Suntec City to watch Bolt. Hahaha. We look so funny in our 3D glasses! :D

And I still have the habit of making paper frogs out of flyers!

Anyway, the movie was really funny! I like the black cat, Mittens! :D
And Bolt was especially cute at the part when he had to beg for food! Hahah.

Melina brought some snacks from Taiwan! Yum. Went to Marina Square. Wanted to buy clothes but I'm broke! Then we met up with Jiaying. Chrystabel and I were supposed to surprise her as she didn't know that we were going to meet her too. Hahaha.

Had pizza for dinner at pastamania! Then Melina and Jiaying wanted to "go to the toilet" (suspicious behaviour) and then Jiaying couldn't find Melina but I spotted her and she was a lighting a candle! Yay! They bought me a brownie! Shared half of it with Jiaying. We sat on the steps outside Westmall before going home.

Melina gave me a kitty keychain from Taiwan and a christmas card! Yay thanks!

A few days ago I changed my blogskin and downloaded the 命中注定我爱你 sound track! Yay! This song is 我的快乐 - 锦绣二重唱.

Shopping with my two best friends!

Actually, I don't feel like blogging.

Okay, so I'm a little narcissistic.

And again, I'm blogging about things that happened last week.

On Wednesday (3rd December), I went to Vivocity with Vera! Had lunch there and shopped. Then we went to Far East Plaza and Wisma Atria.

We were wearing our friendship necklaces! :D

Was really tired but we managed to talk about lots of stuff.

She got me this pair of purple slippers from Bali! Yay! I wanna visit Bali someday. Her trip to Bali with her friends sounded really fun.

Was out with Nureen last Friday (5th December) and we went to Clarke Quay!

Checked out the relatively new shopping mall, Central. Nureen got a free balloon!

We went to Plaza Singapura, Centrepoint and Cineleisure.

Looked for bargains and finally found a purple dress for twenty dollars! Yay!

I just watched the last episode of that Taiwanese drama, Fated to Love You! Damn nice and funny and cute!! Hahah.

Ice skating at Kallang!

Went out with Michelle, Ruonan, Jack, LY and Bryant last Thursday!

I was supposed to meet Michelle at 12 to have lunch but I woke up at 12 instead!! So I chionged out of the house to meet her while she stoned at the library. Hahaha. Sorry, LYGF! Sorry, princess!

Ate at KFC and then went to Bukit Batok MRT station to wait for the guys. LY was one minute late. He arrived in a car with his family. Bryant was about 20 minutes late. Boo.

Jack joined us at Clementi and Ruo Nan joined us at Kallang. Went to Kallang Leisure Park to ice skate! LY paid for me! So that was my advanced birthday present! Yay! And the skates were really smelly. Could smell them while putting them on. Ewwww.

Bryant couldn't ice skate and he kept holding on to the barrier! Gradually, he let go of the barrier but still had to hold onto someone. So we took turns helping him. Haha.

Group photo! :D

The guys!

Jack wanted to take a photo with me! And after taking this photo I started cracking up! Hahaha. OMG. His head looks so big while mine looks so small lah! So I was like, Nooo I don't like this photo! Must take another one!

The previous photo explains why I was laughing in this one!

Another group photo! Thanked the strangers who helped us take these two group photos instead of skating away with my handphone or something.

And LY was like showing off that he could skate really fast, and that he could skate with hands behind his back! ACT PRO!

It was only after we returned our skates that we read the list of rules at the ice skating rink. One of them was that no more than 2 people can skate together, which means we broke the rule, but there was a spelling mistake so it wasn't a rule.

LY went for the 2E3 class barbeque. Ruo Nan went home. Jack wanted to bring us to eat prawn noodles at Kallang, but it was closed! So we decided to go to town. Jack claimed that "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" was a really good movie so we agreed to watch it.

We went to The Cathay and we were standing at where the huge christmas tree was placed last year. They were still talking so I interrupted because I had to exclaim that the christmas tree wasn't there! Boooo.

We bought the tickets for the 9.30pm show. Before that, Jack insisted that Michelle and I called out parents to ask for permission first, which I thought was unnecessary. I called my mum and she immediately went, "NO!" but after some persuasion she said okay.

But later she messaged me to sort of scold me, so I regretted teaching her how to sms. She was like, "Got flu some more don't want to rest keep going and going", and then, "Don't come back too late no good to bathe late at might"

She typed wrongly! Night, not might. And my sister tells her off for not using punctuation. Haha. But I managed to teach her how to put an apostrophe sign okay! And I always find her messages really funny.

Walked to Takashimaya for dinner. I agree with the article in The Straits Times that the decorations at Orchard Road weren't as pretty as the years before.

Christmas tree like structure made of Coca Cola bottles!

Jack and Michelle in front of a christmas tree like structure of teddy bears!

We were walking back and we came to the end of the path, because there was some construction going on. And instead of crossing the road, Jack was like, just walk through it lah.

So we walked through this narrow thing. And at the end, there was a puddle of water. Boo Jack!

As we were walking, Michelle was asking Jack if he had perfect eyesight, then she realised that I had perfect eyesight too, which made me remember the joke after career day!

Because during career day Jack said he wanted to be a pilot and after career day someone (I forgot who!) joked and was like, St you have perfect eyesight also right? Then you can be Jack's co-pilot! Then Jack will tell a cold joke and you guys will crash.

LOL. So I told them about it! Then Jack and Bryant started crapping!

Shall quote this from from Michelle's blog:

"We're sorry, there has been some delay in the flight. The engine has heated up,
so to cool it down, i will tell you some cold jokes. That would be my first one.
Come on, we can do this."

Ahahah that was so damn funny!!

Bryant and Jack also started singing "There She Goes" which was funny too! AND cute. Hahaha. Bryant would sing one line and Jack would help to echo!

It reminded me of my soundless dream when I dreamt that Bryant was the lead singer of this band with Jack in it. I blogged about it before and it's somewhere in the archives.

Went to the supermarket and we drank from the water dispenser there like we were acting like it was awesome that we could drink from there. Then we searched for water. Michelle and I finally found water and we were comparing prices between all the brands. Lol!

Then we had to search for Bryant and Jack and after we found them, we went to Yamaha to look at the guitar strings.

Finally got into the cinema. Sat in between Jack and Michelle. While waiting for the movie to begin, Jack was asking us about what kind of guys we like. And they kept showing soundless advertisements on the screen which kept repeating.

So whenever the Bruce Lee one appeared I pointed to it and was like, "My birthday!!" Lol. Oh yeah, and at a bus stop at Kallang we saw this advertisement about ZoukOut which is going to be on my birthday too!

Michelle started asking about what kind of girls the guys would like. After a while the movie started. And it was lame!! Okay, the dogs are cute and some parts are funny, but the movie, as a whole, was kinda lame. Should've known that Jack would recommend a lame movie. Hahah.

I was trying hard not to cough during the movie so I drank water and ate lozenges. But I'm well now! Just have a bit of phlegm.

Oh yeah, there was this trailer for another movie and the storyline was very familiar. Then at the end, the movie was entitled, "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist". I couldn't believe it! A horrible book I borrowed from the library could actually become a movie!

The guys went to meet some other guys or something, while I took bus 190 home with Michelle.

Didn't realise that it was so late already and she couldn't take 985 home because the last bus had already left, so I walked her to the taxi stand at the back of Lot 1. Saw that she got into a cab before going home because I felt that it was partly my fault and we should've just taken the train.

Oh yeah, my mum asked me about the outing and I told her that it was Jack who told Michelle and I to call our parents, and she was like, "Orhh, no wonder! I thought so guai suddenly call me."

So now she has a good impression of Jack ._.

Last Sunday I got to eat with my family at Crystal Jade Kitchen. Jie drew on my menu and I got to eat sweet and sour pork. Yay! Then when we had to pay, Mum realised that she didn't bring the voucher. Haha. Went shopping at Causeway Point and spent over $200 in all so we received freebies!

Redeemed a colourful umbrella and a 2009 calendar at the information counter! It's pretty! Both items have the Little Miss and Mr. Men characters on them which is so cute!

And I'm not 16 yet! I'm 15 years, 11 months and 19 days old!

4E2 Chalet!

Haven't been able to use this computer in the living room as my sister came back from hostel. Had to use the one in the study with the huge screen. Played Fast Food Empire, a PC game my dad borrowed from the library. Got hooked onto it really quickly, but I still like Zoo Tycoon better.

The new CCK Public Library at Lot 1 is pretty! Can see Northvale and the CCK stadium from there. Haha. And I think there's going to be a rooftop playground like the one at IMM. Yay!

Vera got me hooked onto this Taiwan drama, "Fated to Love You". I only watched the first two episodes because there's something wrong with the third one! Boooo. And my mother was like scolding me for using the computer until 1am. It is so unfair that others get to stay up late online until 3am!

But it's okay because sleeping late gives you eye bags anyway. And there're benefits to being a nurse's daughter. Haha.

And I'm like so outdated to be blogging about what happened last week!

Anyway, our 4E2 class chalet took place on the 24-26 November. I had taken medicine the day before and was feeling really drowsy. Mum woke me up at 8am plus and she was all like, wake up! Have to go for chalet! Have to go to Sheng Siong! What time are we supposed to go?

Clearly, my mother was more excited than I was. While I was half-awake, I told her that Michelle was supposed to message me but she didn't tell me what time to meet yet. Then I dozed off until 10am, when Michelle called.

So it turned out that Michelle forgot to tell me what time to meet. Debby and LY were with her at Bukit Batok MRT station supposedly waiting for me. To be honest, I was really pissed because I was "forgotten" and was only "remembered" when they reached Pasir Ris and didn't know how to go to Loyang Point, and when they needed to know how to get to the chalet to put down the stuff they bought because they met up way too early.

I took my time to get ready and took the train with mum. Waited at the bus interchange at 2pm as stated in the mass sms I sent to everyone. Most of them had informed me that they weren't meeting at that time and would join us at the chalet later. So my mum and I just had to meet Jiaying, Chrystabel, LY, Michelle and Debby. Got to Costa Sands Pasir Ris and checked in. Received two tickets for four free admissions to either Escape Theme Park or Wild Wild Wet. Or for three games at Orchid Bowl at E!Hub. Room number was F03. Rented the BBQ pit too.

Then I got myself to chill and decided that I won't care so much anymore, and I'm not in charge of food anyway, and it's my fault for dozing off and not smsing Michelle to ask, and that I can't eat barbequed food because of my throat. So there was no point getting upset and I don't think anyone knew that I was pissed.

Went to the beach for a while.

Played the game about getting to the number 21, which was a game that Alvin taught us during the E6 chalet. Marinated the chicken. Elliot, Bryant, Cecilia, Brenda, Josephine, Debbie, Irvin, Jiaxun, Jack, Pei Jun, Wenxin and Kenneth came later.

The few of us who had met up at the bus interchange helped to start the fire and cooked the first batch of food.

The rest were all upstairs. I don't really know what they were doing. We were annoyed by their inaction so those starting the fire decided that they should help us clean up later on. And when I went up to ask if they would do that, they agreed. But they were all just sitting around. What I saw pissed me off, and the only thing I could do was to slam the door.

They bought packets of noodles but forgot to buy drinks from Sheng Siong. Lol. Jiaxun told me to call her if we needed anything, so she helped us get satay sticks and marshmallows.

Later, the BBQ proceeded just fine. We were all either eating, cooking or watching TV. The guys had moved the table outside so that we could eat there and not dirty the chalet. Elliot thanked me for the chalet, which made me go like >> O.O

When Jiaying went to the toilet, we quickly prepared the cake which was bought earlier that day. Some people wanted to do other things and disappear into the room AGAIN, so Debby and Michelle shouted. Everyone got together to surprise her and sing her a birthday song. Yay!

After bathing, I went upstairs. The lights were switched off and they were telling ghost stories, so I joined them and listened. After a while I got bored because the stories weren't very scary. Those who didn't like ghost stories were downstairs.

Later, some of them went out for a walk and I got to sleep on the bed and talked to LY, who was sleeping on the floor. Then Debby, Michelle and Chrystabel came in to sleep as well. Didn't know that Debby was afraid of the dark, but I guess everyone has some kind of silly fear.

Jiaying seemed to be up all night playing Stress. There were two mattresses downstairs to sleep on as well. I had two hours of sleep. Then I had a headache so I went back up to sleep on the floor. Though I didn't manage to fall asleep, the headache eventually went away.

In the morning, we played Taiti and Cheat. LY, Michelle, Debby, Jiaying, Chrystabel and I went to the food court for breakfast. Had roti prata. Yum.

Wy-lin joined us that day. More people woke up and we wanted to play the Polar Bear game. Then Jack said that it was like the Mafia game so we played that instead. I was the mafia in one round and I won 'cause I killed almost everyone. Hahaha. Michelle just keeps accusing me at every round. She also keeps getting killed.

Went to Escape Theme Park with Josephine, Nureen, Brenda, Cecilia, Debby, Michelle, Jiaying, Chrystabel. The rest didn't want to join us and continued playing Bridge. Anyway, we had eight free admissions as Kenneth provided us with two more tickets the night before. Yay! So we shared the cost of one more ticket.

Then we got ourselves a locker and dumped our stuff there. Our first stop was the ride which was right at the entrance of the theme park. The view was nice! You could see all the attractions when the ride spins you to the top. We went back for a second round. Sat with Michelle and Jiaying and we were talking as though we were just sitting at coffee bean or something, which was kind of funny.

We went on the Choo Choo Train which was so lame because it was a kiddy ride. Hahaha. The Pirate Ship was our next stop. It was just like a huge swing but at the highest point I felt that I was going to fall out of the ride or something. Took the Family Coaster which was kinda jerky and also hurt our backs. Boo. Lousy ride.

The Haunted House was boring, because I was the first to enter and the sensor was retarded, so after I walked past something it'll jump out and scare those behind me. And there was one part where I couldn't see and kept banging into black walls so we had to wait for the people in charge to lead the way with their torches. And there were this group of girls behind us screaming their lungs out.

Queued up for Wet and Wild! Saw this guy who sat alone on the ride and after the splash, he swished his hair. Act cool lah! Then he got off and queued for the ride again. Lol. Anyway, the going up part was noisy but zooming down and getting wet part was nice. And the super tiny ferris wheel was boring. Too bad that rides like Rainbow and the Inverter were under maintenance or something.

We talked for a while at Burger King and had some drinks. There was this cute little girl staring at us and the balloon we had on our table. Michelle tried to twist the balloon into something and it burst. The little girl didn't even flinch and went after the balloon. So cute!

Went back to the chalet and the guys plus Wy-lin were still playing cards so we were like >> O.O
And I didn't understand why the job of collecting money from everyone was pushed to me when the money wasn't for me and it's not my fault that they exceeded the budget.

Played Bridge, talked crap, went to bathe, then joined the rest for dinner. Met Nilesh and two others along the way as they were there for their 4E5 chalet. Couldn't finish my rice because I was still sick, had no appetite and felt like vomiting.

Didn't join the rest for night cycling (because I still have the mentality that I don't know how to cycle even though Vera and her friends had taught me how at our sec two chalet, and anyway, I was still sick) and stayed with Debby. We cleared the rubbish in the chalet before going to sleep.

I had two dreams that night. I remembered one of them. I was in class and some teacher told us to write a super long essay about "Language", and everyone in class was like, "What the hell!".

And in my sleep I heard someone saying, "Don't wake them up lah, I also don't like it if people wake me up when I'm sleeping." Later Michelle told me that that was Irvin. Haha. But I did tell them that they could wake me up when they came back.

When I woke up, I quickly got out of the room to let the others sleep. Went to the toilet near the swimming pool. Came back with Chrystabel and saw the cat sleeping outside our chalet, so I pet its head. Heard that they saw bapoks. Shared my rasin bread for breakfast. It was supposed to be my dinner on the first night because I wasn't supposed to eat the barbequed food. But who cares. Couldn't resist the satays.

Everyone else was sleeping so I went out and the fat cat came over to rub itself against my legs before going back to sleep again.

Debby joined me and it rubbed itself against both our legs. I bet it just wanted food.

Packed up, returned the bicycles and checked out. Some people wanted to eat breakfast so we went to the food court but in the end nobody ate anything. Just had some drinks and played cards again. Lol. I wanted to go bowling but the others had no more money. Booo.

Took the train back and we sat in a corner, playing cards. We discussed about where to go the next day. At Bukit Batok, Michelle suddenly told me that she wanted to come to my house, which was like >> O.O

So she came slept on the sofa and when I woke her up, she said, "no big difference" or something, which made me LOL because it was so random, but it happens to me too when I was talking in my dream and continued my sentence when someone in real life butts in. Then we played on my PS2 but we were quite sleepy and she went off to catch her shuttle bus.

And that concludes my super long post about the 4E2 chalet. 19 people came which is almost half the class, so it wasn't too bad I guess. There're plans for another one in January.

E6 chalet 08!

Happy birthday, Jiaying! My lit lab partner!

I'm back from the E6 chalet! (19-21 November)

Anyway, ten of us stayed over and it was really fun, even though I lost my voice after the BBQ. And this post might sound boring because I'm sick while typing it. And sick people sound sickly.

So on the first day, I left early to get soap and slippers from Westmall. Met the rest and took the train to Pasir Ris. After lunch at White Sands, we went to our room to put our stuff before going to Wild Wild Wet.

I've never been there before and it was fun! Especially the Shiok River and the yellow and blue slide. Yunqian, Nicholas, Wei Jie, Bryant and I sat in the same float. Zheng Jie, Kuan Keong, Alvin, Thian Soon and Shaun sat in another. Yunqian screamed a lot and the five of us went down the slide a few more times. There was a camera which snapped a photo of us half way down the slide. After the ride we went to look at it. I wonder if you can buy the photo. Also played at the playground, tsunami, jacuzzi and the foam pool. Played taiti while waiting to bathe.

Went to Bedok food court for dinner but I didn't eat 'cause I had no appetite even though the food there looks nice. Been having a sore throat after eating the food at prom. Everyone bought donuts. Back at the chalet, Zhengjie told us ghost stories. Thian Soon and Bryant taught us how to play bridge. Then something happened so most of us couldn't sleep. Finally fell sleep when everyone was back in the room.

The next morning, we had donuts and cup noodles for breakfast. Went to the arcade at the E!hub to play. Then we had lunch at the food court but I felt like vomiting so I didn't finish the chicken rice. We went to rent bicycles while I rented rollerblades. I asked if they sold socks and they gave me a pair for free. (later I regretted because renting rollerblades were more expensive than renting bicycles and the rollerblades were sucky as they were rusty and the wheels were slow and they left blisters on my feet).

Alvin was leading the way to Pasir Ris MRT station and we were following until a point when we looked back and couldn't see Nigou and Yunqian anymore. Caught up with Bryant and Wei Jie. Bryant bought water from a store opposite the road and we continued stoning. Then we went back to Pasir Ris Park and met the rest. Decided not to join them since I already didn't feel well during lunch and the rollerblades suck. Didn't bring my handphone charger so it ran out of battery and KK asked WJ to lend me his phone. It was only after they left that I realised that my wallet was with KK and I couldn't buy more water. Then Nigou called and I met him and Yunqian.

Decided to go back to the chalet together. Played Guitar Hero III on WJ's phone. Wenxi, Shuangyu and Jingyi came and they were in the room. YQ didn't want to disturb them because they were watching a movie so we played taiti and speed outside. She played the songs on WJ's phone until no more battery. Lol. The the rest came back from buying BBQ stuff and we went to return our bikes and rollerblades. Then some guys went to collect the food. YQ and I met Nureen and we went to the E!hub to just look around and played some games at the arcade again. Bought this cute chocolate thingys on a stick. 3 sticks receive one apple stick free, so just nice.

We lingered downstairs and talked crap, like air pollution. Hahaha. Went back to the room and played bridge, then taiti. Watched the show, 'Ten Brothers' on TV. KK mimicked the way I sounded while having a hoarse and manly voice. Boo him. Matthew looked like a tourist. Haha. ZJ wasn't feeling well and he ate porridge.

Went down for the barbeque. I said I wasn't going to eat anything. But I was hungry! So I ate the barbequed food they cooked and my voice sounded worse. Then I predicted that I won't have a voice the next day. Oh, and thanks to whoever who bought JiaJia LiangTeh. WJ became in charge of the rubbish. So I called him garbage boy. Haha. Oh, and there was a cake for Zheng Jie and Nureen! Surprised ZJ in the room and later, surprised Nureen downstairs. Then we ate the chocolate cake. YQ and I played with the matches and candles and satay sticks.

The BBQ continued until midnight. YQ and I went to heat marshmallows. Yay. Bathed and then played taiti. And as expected, I really lost my voice! I could only whisper. Lol. Then Alvin was like, don't play taiti lah, play something that everyone can play.

So we played this game with the poker cards. The aim was not to hit 99. Then the loser would have to perform a dare. YQ seemed to be asleep but the rest of us played. Alvin lost the first round so he had to go up to the security guard and ask, "Am I cute?" Hahaha. Nigou lost the second round 'cause I saboed him. When it was my turn, the numbers added up to 93, so I placed down a 5. LOL. So he had to go down to the fitness corner, take out his shirt and sing 非你莫属. Hahaha. YQ suddenly became awake and went down with us to see him do his dare.

Then all of us went down to the red house except for Wei Jie. We saw a frog along the way. Haha. Had to walk for quite a while to reach there. At the gate, there were some indians climbing over and they were like, hey this is red house! They went in for a while, climbed out, and went into their car. Lame! We looked over the fence before going back to the chalet. Bryant was saying that next week, at the 4E2 chalet, we should go back there. I don't mind. I don't really believe in the supernatural.

Nigou bought another can of JiaJia LiangTeh for me. Then we played another game which Alvin introduced to us. Thian Soon lost so we dared him to go into the red house the next day, take a video, and be 自恋/narcissistic. Haha. We watched the movie, 'Anaconda', but I watched it before so I got bored and fell asleep.

When I woke up, WJ was at my feet and KK was next to me on the other bed. We started packing up and checked out. Had breakfast at Subway and we went to the red house again for Thian Soon's dare. He says he doesn't believe in the ghosts either.

Almost everyone fell asleep in the train on the way back. Damn tired! And I brought my camera but I forgot about it, so no photos. But like I said, it was fun!

Graduation Night!

YAY I FINALLY UPLOADED ALL THE PHOTOS! :D

And for goodness sake people, my dress is purplish-grey, not black! Black is the colour of my shawl!

Too busy to blog about prom, so this is just a picture post.

& Happy birthday Amalina!
