june holidays!

my army of erasers! haha. when i was sick i dumped out the contects of this container full of erasers and arranged them as if to take a "family photo" because i was too bored being sick and feverish and sleeping all the time. hahas. they were arranged on my snoopy bedsheet! (:

had faculty meeting in the morning held by mr cha. he was talking crap man! hahas. he made me like history in sec two and he's quite nice. anyway, he told us the new bbss website (http://bbss.edu.sg/) and about the classroom location in the holding school, the old MI (millenia institute) 3e2 is gonna be the corner classroom at the 3rd level. the same level as 3e3, 3e4, and 3e5. hahas. i wonder how noisy its gonna be. 3e1 will be at the level below and 3e6 is in another block. how weird.

he also talked about our results. 3e2 had 100% passes for all humanities(: then about PTM, ISPL, blahsblahs. after all that, mr cha gave out certificates to the top 3 in class. for 3e2 3rd was leyu, 2nd is samuel and 1st is bryant. wah so pro can. samuel is 10th in the whole level and bryant is 4th.

didnt have PE since there was less than half an hour left so there was no point. went back to class. sat beside michelle and behind leongyew. kept kicking is chair for the whole day so during chinese (the last period) when the chinese teacher had not arrived and when i pushed his chair till he almost fell down, he turned about and slammed my table. so loud that everyone kept quiet and stared. i was so shocked. i didnt know how to react. ly started laughing and some others too, then everything went back to normal. michelle said i looked scared. i guess i probably was.

after the the first period which was literature, the bio people came back and leongyew gave me chocolate wrapped up in wrapping paper and a note attached to it. he gave chocolate to michelle and debby too, with notes attached as well. michelle's note was green. anyway here's mine.

and the chocolate.. ate quite a lot already(:

so immediately michelle and i started asking him whether he was gonna die because him giving us chocolate out of the blue was so unexpected since he's evil.

through the day, the chocolate got softer and softer since it was melting. the note was to apologise for banging my table. haha. ly, you better not scare me like that again.

finished english compre! handed it up to mrs toh and she was all like, "shi ting, why didnt you use school paper?" sheesh, she is so fussy! the school bookshop had already moved everything the previous day, so how am i supposed to buy bbss foolscap paper and do my compre at home? but i didnt bother explaining. hahas. then when michelle handed up her compre, she was called back for not writing the title -.-

after school i met the sec ones and twos to brief them about what they have to do during the June holidays to attain the librarian badge. one of the sec ones attituded me. hmm. whatever, i dont care. dont know whats her problem.

met ma'am faridah at macdonalds where me and shiya was having lunch. she passed me the walkathon cards and briefed me about it.

went home and quickly put the chocolate in the fridge for it to harden (:

last day of school!

had to hand up social studies h/w on source based questions, and everyone was rushing to complete it during recess. haha. i was only left with the last question and finished it quickly during recess.

arranged the tables and chairs for the parent teacher meeting (ptm) during the last period. slacked around till the bell rang.

went to the st john room and gave out the walkathon cards to the sec 3s. then met the sec 2s at the spiral staircase. the sec 1s were nowhere to be seen so shiya and i briefed the sec twos first, gave out the cards, and told them they could go.

waited somemore. dennis and shiva turned up, followed by delcynia, sherlyn, and esther. wow. out of 14 only 5 showed up. was so pissed.

shuangyu was taking photos of the st john room, sickbay and the spiral staircase, using her digital camera. i took some photos using my handphone camera too (:

lockers.. so lame. my locker is somewhere in the middle. above my locker is jiaxun and kenneth's locker. to the right of my locker is samuel's locker. and i wonder why doesnt his cleverness get passed to me when my locker is just next to his for two and a half years.

had some drinks at the canteen. then went to this playground with shiya on the way to westmall. took the train home and got ready for the dreadful ptm.

went to school with mummy dearest. took 941 and met shiya again (: then when going up the stairs jingyi called me. i looked up and saw her with ma'am liping and ma'am faridah. haha. then went to the 3e2 classroom. wenxin, ruishan and pei jun were there and they said hi to my mum too. patricia was with her mum and they were talking to mrs ooi while melina and her mother was talking to mdm yeo.

the prefect served my mother drinks (hello? im thirsty too) and after a while, denise and her mother came. her mother is as lame as her. lols! no offense. i mean lame in a good way =)

patricia and her mother was done so it was my turn. mrs ooi and my mother talked about me and my mother asked how to improve, blahblah. my mother asked if i could drop A maths and take bio instead. and throughout the ptm i just kept nodding my head when mrs ooi and my mother were trying to encourage me to do better. so mrs ooi is quite nice i guess. at one point mrs ooi asked me "shi ting, what can we do to help you improve?" and another question, "what have you been doing in class?" so i just looked at her. luckily, she didnt complain about me or anything. or say that i talk a lot in class, whatsoever. im just glad it wasnt mdm yeo. and at another part of the conversation between my mum and mrs ooi, mrs ooi was like "see she's so quiet now" who wouldnt be? i mean, two people talking about you right in front of you. what could i say? oh yah. and my mum told mrs ooi that i use the computer too much and im always doing secretary work for st john. so they said that i must prioritize, manage my time well, etc.

after ptm my mum and i went to westmall. went to this fashion and bought a new top and a new pair of shorts. yayy(: i love my new top. its so pretty. then we bought japanese food and went home to eat.

woke up early and when i went out to meet shiya at cck mrt station, i saw a family with putting their luggages into the back of a taxi.

anyway, we went to bukit batok mrt station to meet the sec twos for their KSJ test. all of them were studying their notes and the powerpoint slides they printed which i sent to them. went to the st john hq together. stopped by mr bean since we were too early. at hq, they called out for zone nine and they waited outside the room. shiya and i wished them goodluck before going to the concourse (the shopping mall next to hq, not the school's concourse) to have a drink at burger king. went back to meet the sec twos. walked back to lavender mrt station and bought junyan's boots along the way. his arm was still in a sling, so it must've been difficult for him to write during the test.

took the train down and shiya told some ghost stories to the sec twos. then we alighted at tiong bahru and went shopping at tbp (: went to more than words and shiya saw this correction tape.

cool right? so i decided to buy it. hahas.

oh my gosh. SO CUTE RIGHT? hahaha. there were other colours, but the grey one which i bought is the nicest.

ate at kfc for lunch before going home.

walked home and at my condo, i saw two families with luggages this time. one was getting into the taxi and the other was waiting for the taxi. sighs. i wish i could go on a holiday too.

talked to nureen on msn at night. haha. we could talk about loads of stuff, and it was so fun talking to her. i kept laughing and my mother thought i was talking to matthew/ leongyew. like, whatever! i dont always talk to those two okay. geez. i love my best friends(:

had tuition from 1pm to 2.40pm. the three marsiling sec guys are still as lame as ever. having tuition with them is so funny 'cause they keep crapping. so i kept laughing while doing logarithms. and leo (my tuition teacher) didnt give me homework this time. yay(:

omg, im becoming an audition freak! but im only at level 7. which is actually quite good already because i dont play much and i took 1 day to become level 5 and a few days to become level 6 and i just turned level 7 after passing the license thing, which was so easy. but i should be doing ISPL! i really, really should learn how to prioritize and not be so lazy. i mean, even michelle and leongyew has already started on their ISPL. and i thought that they were slackers like me. i guess im the real slacker here. ahh whatever. and i have to keep reminding my mum what ISPL stands for- inter self pased learning. sheesh. it was already hard enough for her to remember what PBL was the last time.

jie bought her own octopus on her way back from school! hahas. she also bought the grey one, since its the nicest(: the head of her octopus is a bit mutated, not like mine, so round and cute! haha. so if you go and buy one you should choose the octopus which has the roundest head. my junior, ngai frong, also asked me on msn where i got my octopus. nureen wants one too. the octopus is too cute to resist! we could start an octopus family! ahaha.

sent out of class the third time

nobody missed me while i was away! sob*

okayokay. so i wasnt away. i was absent yesterday. but still. NOBODY MISSED ME.

well, apart from melina and shiya who smsed to ask me how was i and all that, nobody else missed me. nobody cared. boohoo. or maybe its because i pon school too many times already. then people think i pon school again.

anyway i didnt pon school okay. i was really, really sick. honest!

see lah. now its like the boy who cried wolf. when really sick nobody believe. lol! but i kept coughing today so you cannot not believe me that i was sick.

i know mdm yeo didnt miss me. nureen forgot to collect worksheet A6 for me so i asked it from mdm yeo herself. then she said "you so blur ah you dont have the worksheet? or is it you never come?" so i took the worksheet from her while saying "yes, i was absent" and she said "har! you really never come ah! okay give me MC"

see! it is very clear that mdm yeo doesnt miss me.

but i guess she missed sending me out of class though. she did that again today for the third time. but this time she only sent me and bryant out of the classroom, since leongyew was sitting at the correct place while me and bryant were not.

actually i shouldnt have been sent out of class in the first place. i was only trying to tell michelle and leongyew to stop talking because mdm yeo was looking our way. then mdm yeo was like, "last time only leong yew and shi ting. now leong yew shi ting and michelle! and why are you all seated like that?" then she told me and bryant to get out -.-

hello? i was only trying to tell leong yew and michelle to keep quiet. plus, its not my fault bryant doesnt want to change place. i shouldnt even have let leongyew change places with me this morning. he escaped today's punishment of being sent out of class. it should include him as well.

blahs. bryant just sat on prakash's table at the back of the classroom next to the back door while i stood behind denise. later, denise shifted to my place for a better view of the whiteboard so when mdm yeo wasnt looking, i sat at her place. i think mdm yeo didnt notice or even if she did, she didnt really bother since i wasnt making any noise.

later mark and prakash were sent out of class as mark, tariq and prakash werent allowed to sit together. tariq wasnt sent out since he was sitting at his place. so mark and prakash stood outisde, by the window. the last window had already the second last pane broken, but mark broke two more panes so that his body could slide through the window. he then used his hands to pull the nearest table, (bryant's table) towards him so that he could write. lols. later bryant also didnt care anymore because i was sitting at denise's place for so long and mdm yeo didnt say anything. so he sat back at his seat.

and i dont care. since it was michelle and leong yew's fault that i was sent out of class,
THEY BOTH OWE ME CHOCOLATE!!

before being sent out of class, i did my english oral presentation. finally got it over with. actually there was only 20 minutes left for oral presentation, and the guys were trying to delay oral presentation because apart from me and pei jun, only the guys are left to present. haha. after pei jun presented, it was my turn even though there was only 5 minutes left. and i did quite badly since i only wrote a little bit of what i was supposed to present and didnt prepare properly. just glad its over (:

after school i met up with some of the sec twos. me and shiya went through the KSJ notes with them for their knowledge of order test this saturday.

okay, i have to go and do all the work that i missed yesterday(:

LONG UPDATE PART 2

the CIP funfair thing was so fun! it was to raise funds for the childrens' cancer society(: i was during corrections for the physics SA1 paper when the announcement was made for the CIP leaders to set up the booths at the concourse. michelle told me to go down and help too but at that time i was still feeling upset so i didnt want to go. after doing corrections for a while, i felt bored and thought, whats the use of doing corrections? i should just go down and join them.

when i went down, i saw pei jun, wenxin, and brenda making the sour power sweets into lollipops. the sweets came in strips so we just had to roll it and stick a toothpick into each strip. i helped them as well. me and peijun did the rest of these lollipop thingys at the back of the booth until the final few packets, where brenda came back again to help. it sold out pretty quickly. 1 for thirty cents and 2 for fifty cents.

other things at the booth were uma's heart shaped, homemade cookies! i ate some and they were delicious! (: each packet contained 4 cookies and was tied with a red ribbon. at the other side of the booth, there was a game by irvin's group. the more marbles you could pick out using chopsticks, the more sweets you get.

oh yah. and the poster michelle told me to make was placed on the table at the booth. haha. it was so fun going around the other booths and helping to sell the cookies. there were some packets left after the fair so uma gave a packet each to those who helped out. yummy cookies! (:

after the whole thing i helped to throw away a bag of rubbish because michelle handed me a bag of rubbish saying she couldnt squash it into the dustbin. she shouldve just thrown it into the big black rubbish bins instead of the yellow one. haha. took some left over sweets from the game too. then went back up for normal lessons.

had st john! me and amalina went to find miss lim after first parade. amalina had to get the laptop for the first aid lesson for the sec ones while i had to get the cheque for the KSJ exam. miss lim told us that the school will be closing at 5pm because it was "eat with your family day". this eat with your family thing was supposed to be on the next friday but it was pushed forward due to the parent teacher meeting. haha. didnt know there was such thing as eat with your family day.

sec ones had first aid then footdrill, while sec twos had footdrill all the way. recreation was most fun. me, jingyi and shiya played handball for 3 rounds. the first round was to join the sec ones as they didnt have enough people to compete against the sec twos. then for the second round, it was the instructors against the sec ones and later it was the instructos against the sec twos. lol. had so much fun!


19 May 2007

woke up and was feeling too good. asked my mother whether i was having a fever and without even checking, she told me i was fine and i had to get up and go to school. so i did get up and went to school with shiya for this public duty seminar thing. when we reached there, the sec twos greeted us. saw farah too. we went into the st john room and helped to staple the handouts and a survey form behind it. i kept sneezing and had a runny nose and used up all my tissue so i had to use yunqian's. i just sat in the room and felt dead. sir siow saw my face and told me i wasnt looking too good. in fact, i was looking paler than after doing footdrill. so he told me i didnt need to help out and could go home and rest. i called my house and no one answered so i called my mum's hp and no one answered so i called dad and no one answered and i had to repeat this several times before dad answered his handphone saying he was at yishun sending jie to school and may take some time to reach bbss. the rest went to AVT2 for the seminar thingy while i sat at the spiral staircase waiting for dad to come.

i didnt realise that i had a fever until i reached home. i changed my clothes and ate one panadol before sleeping. i woke up again at 12 noon to bathe and went back to sleep. the fever went down but came back again until it was 38.9 degrees. totally skipped breakfast, lunch and dinner, apart from the steamed potatoes and the soup i had that my mother made me eat for dinner. i had no appetite anyway. my mother told me to take 2 panadol tablets instead and i did so. ate some cough medicine thing too. after that my fever went down and i watched condor heros with my parents. luckily the fever was really gone, if not my parents would've brought me to the 24 hour clinic just nearby. after that i was really very hungry after not eating for such a long time. like hibernating. lol. ate some snacks before sleeping.

forgot when i took this. it was during chemistry practical when we were doing titration. the solution was colourless and was supposed to be green when the indicator was added. we were supposed to get grey as the end point. pink if we added too much and it became acidic. but i dont know how mark and the guys at the back mixed it and it became this orange juice. it was even frizzing up at some point like a gassy drink


8 May 2007- after CL listening. went to eat breakfast at macdonalds with nureen, rui shan, brenda, wenxin, and xuemin. came back to school to slack while the people were taking their biology papers. hahas.

met michelle, vanessa, chrystabel, & jiaying. walked to westmall together. after vanessa bought a birthday present for a friend, she told us enthusiastically, 'i bought a pen!' and whipped out this pen below..
..'tah-dah!' LOL!

9 May 2007- Physics paper one was so boring! there was so much time left for me to sleep on my paper and look over to michelle, who even smiled at me. lols.

after the papers were collected.. the mid year exams were officially over! yay(:

went to macdonalds to eat breakfast again, but this time with shuangyu, jingyi, amalina, atiqah, yunqian, & shiya. had a st john meeting with the juniors and then me, shiya and amalina went to the st john hq to buy badges. unfortunately, the st john supplies was closed as the person in charge of it went to eat lunch. so we went to the concourse and had a drink. went window shopping and when we went back, it was still not open yet. we sat around, waited for a while and looked at each others handphones. the woman finally came and we bought the badges.

i called denise and it turns out that spiderman 3 was starting at 3pm plus. so i took a train with shiya and ama but alighted at dhoby ghaut to go to plaza singapura. changed in the toilet quickly and met up with denise, jack, ariel, yikiat, sean, & leongyew at the food court. bought the tickets and shared a drink and popcorn with denise.

we went into the threatre and the guys told the girls to go in and sit first. so ariel went in first then denise, then me. when i sat now i then realised that some guy would have to sit next to me. i heard the guys telling ly to go in and sit, but obviously he refused and instead, yikiat sat next to me. sean sat next to him followed by jack and then leong yew. haha. heng ah (:

during the movie i felt some popcorn landing on me that came from the guys' side, from my left that is. yikiat said that it was sean, so i picked up somepopcorn from my seat and threw it back. i knew that sean was throwing popcorn at denise and yikiat was like, 'aye i think she never feel leh, throw more' or something. lols. then yikiat kept telling me to ask denise if she was alright.

at the end of the movie when harry was dying and it was such a sad scene for peter and MJ, yikiat kept telling the movie to 'faster end'. then the screen darkened and yikiat was like 'yes! end liao!' but then the screen brightened again and a scene of a funeral came up. LOL. yikiat was like 'wah lau eh still have funeral... my bladder want to burst already lah!' which was so funny so i couldnt help but laugh even though it was supposed to be a sad scene.

then at the end when MJ and peter hugged yikiat was like, 'wah lau still must hug somemore'. then the movie finally ended then he was like, 'faster go out leh leong yew' because ly sat at the end but the guys told him to stay put. lol! then sean was like, 'yikiat, must watch the credits first. must acknowledge all these people' ahahahas. it was hilarious. denise wanted to go already but since nobody was moving she sat down again. it was so funny. after a while i stood up and said 'okay okay lets go'. everbody started going and yikiat was so happy.

we went shopping! hahas. bought a birthday present for yiting. saw this stupid notice:

when i read it i was thinking, what is a fixing room? until i saw the sign..

leong yew and denise left. the rest of us ate dinner at pastamania before going home.

was sent out of class by mdm yeo again. for the second time already. along with leongyew and bryant. just because we didnt sit at out new places. our original place is me in front of leongyew, and leongyew in front of bryant. and the new place we were designated to and supposed to sit at was leongyew in front of bryant in front of me. which is dumb and it didnt really make a difference. but whatever.

standing outside didnt make a difference either. ruishan and peijun came out of class as they wanted to go to the sickbay and they weren't feeling well, so i decided to bring them there since standing outside and bringing them to the sickbay didnt make a difference to my understanding of math. i touched ruishan's arm and she was feverish.

the sickbay was locked so i went to the general office to get the key but the woman whom i approached told me the class chairman had to blahblahblah whatsoever (i didnt really listen because i was thinking- why cant she just give me the damn key? see whether she likes it if she has a fever and the person who holds the key to the sickbay just keeps blabbering on)

so i went up and got farah down to settle the shit. the woman said she needed the form teacher's signature and told me to get ruishan and peijun to the general office to take their temperature. so farah went up again while i brought them in and they explained to a different woman (not the irritable woman, a nicer one, thank goodness) that they just wanted to rest in the sickbay and they dont want to go home. and that later they may join the class again after resting. so this nicer woman who was not the previously irritable one FINALLY gave the sickbay key to me.

all this trouble just to get a door open. if only i didnt meet that irritable woman in the first place. waste my time only. sheesh.

they laid on the two beds in the girls sickbay and we talked and told each other stories. i only went up when the bell rung at 12 noon, which signified the end of mdm yeo's lesson(:


15 May 2007, Yi Ting's birthday!

gave leong yew his early & unwrapped present- the album 'the black parade' and some chocolate.

after school i wanted to go for ly's birthday celebration lunch thing, but i didnt go because i stayed back to pack the st john room. actually i wanted to go because i heard that they were going to swensens, but i heard that in the end they never went there because they ate at macdonalds and became quite full so after that they went to the library to borrow books for the english thing mrs toh told us to do.

luckily i didnt go. i didnt really know the people who went, apart from leongyew and michelle that is.

besides, i had fun packing. we used up 12 boxes.



16 May 2007, Leong Yew's birthday

went to watch Off Centre at the esplanade! the picture above are the tickets. (me and nureen's)

the play was great. the only thing was that the seat were uncomfortable and the guys who sat behind us kept complaining that it was very boring, very sian, etc.

after the play, i went to eat dinner at marina square with nureen, wenxin, rui shan, pei jun, denise, & patricia.

took a bus with wenxin ruishan and nureen. alighted at the bus stop where wenxin switched buses to go home while the three of us walked to raffles place MRT station. ruishan was crapping all the way in the train.

200 pounds beauty

changed my skin! =)

yesterday after the boring exams (additional mathematics and literature)

me, nureen, xuemin, peijun, wenxin and brenda went to westmall to have lunch. then we did some window shopping and went to the cinema, wanting to watch a movie. wenxin recommended the korean movie, "200 Pounds Beauty", but we missed the three o'clock one at westmall so we went over to jurong entertainment centre to watch it instead.

oh yah. peijun is still as outdated as ever :D

anyway, the movie was so touching! i sat in between nureen and brenda and was scared that they will see my tearing up but it turns out that brenda was crying too! xuemin as well (:

took the train and walked home with xuemin. finally, someone who stays in the same condo as me to walk home with. (:

the main papers are over! only left with chinese listening and physics paper one. and there are no exams on monday, so i can slack! too bad for the people who have their pure geog exam on monday and their bio papers on tuesday. ahahahs.

today is a happy day.

i met up with happy friends at the happy concourse.

we had a happy flag raising and happy morning assembly.

during the happy flag raising happy nureen and happy me could hear happy mark and happy prakash and happy traiq talking about happy things such as happy gays and happy homosexuals. (or was it homosapiens?)

then we happily went to the happy classroom and studied happily for the happy exam on the happy subject called english.

the happy exam was happy english language paper 2, which meant happy comprehensions and happy summary.

the happy exam started at eight o clock so in the happy meantime, we could happily study for our happy chemistry paper later on.

happily, the happy exam was over quite quickly so we were indeed happy.

the paper was happily difficult but never mind, it is already the happy past.

happy chinese indonesian beauty michelle was being so happy today. happy china beauty peijun too.

after that we had a happy break which most of the happy people used the happy break to study happily.

the happy chemistry paper 2 went by and the next happy paper was happy chemistry paper 1.

i can tell you honestly and happily that i would happily fail both the happy papers, because it was all so happily difficult.

i dont understand the happy subject called chemistry anyway because the happy teacher likes to speak happy broken english happily and her happy explanations are quite confusing.

after all the happy papers that we sat for, happy me and happy xiaohui went down the stairs together happily and heard happy ronald from happy 3e3 saying that he would happily confirm sure score a happy A1 for if he did not, he would happily jump down the building.

xiaohui and i were so happy to hear that.

i met happy melina and we went to the side gate together happily.

we happily met happy nureen, happy wylin, and happy josephine.

we happily walked to the happy 941 bus stop together.

happy melina went home happily first, while i joined and happy nureen, happy josephine, and happy wylin, to have a happy lunch at happy westmall.

we happily went to happy koufu.

they ate happy noodles while i ate happy japanese chicken teriyaki.

we talked happily and met happy yunqian and happy zhiwei too.

happy nureen went home and happy wylin, happy josephine and happy me took the happy MRT.

reached happy choa chu kang and walked home happily. =)

20 April 2007- went to watch Blithe Spirit with my lit class!

i have no idea why i took this picture of a wheel. this was seen at my side of the bus. on the other side they could see the view of the esplanade.

love blithe spirit! it was so funny. after that we keep imitating the trance thingy and how the maid sang the 'unforgettable' song. at the end, everything in the house started moving- so cool.


26 April- kuankeong's birthday

me and nureen went up to the fourth floor to deliver kk's birthday present and paul's belated one that we went to buy the day before. paul's present was a notebook with a joke on each page attached with a small card and kk's was this cute hand thingy. i heard that they played with it and used it to point the middle finger. lols.
