I went through my list of links, which took me an hour and almost killed me, but it's okay because there are no exam papers tomorrow.
Prelims suck, especially the papers we had today. I was practically stoning during Physics Paper Two. And don't get me started on History Elective. I wrote a bunch of nonsense for my SEQ.
I thought I learnt my lesson NOT to study my favourite chapters. This is because for the Social Studies paper, I studied three chapters I liked, namely Globalisation, Bonding Singapore and Conflict in Multi-Ethnic Socities (Northern Ireland and Sri Lanka). Guess what? None of them came out.
So instead, I read through the entire history textbook, but I didn't study any of the chapters thoroughly, so I didn't have the facts at my fingertips. Soooooo, I'm going to fail my combined humanities and die horribly. Because I'm supposed to get an A1 for both humanities in order to make up for my pathetic science skills and according to Ms Punitha, common sense.
And it is stupid to have history and physics on the same day anyway.
Other than being utterly sore about prelims, today was okay. After the having lunch in school, Michelle, Debby and I went to Westmall to buy some presents.
Oh, and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO DEBBY! (26th August)
Yay! On Monday, a day before Debby's birthday and after the A-Math paper, Melina, Michelle and I ate lunch (curry potato and chicken with rice!) before going to the flithy rich girl's house to do some secret yet not really secret top secret stuff secretly.
The secret yet not really secret top secret was to help Michelle get her roses (which she made herself) into a bouquet. Which Melina did, of course. I was playing on Michelle's organ. I did learn the organ when I was very young, like, before I entered primary school. It was only after I shifted to Choa Chu Kang 9 years ago that I switched to piano. And of course, I stopped learning three years ago and blah blah, all that jazz which I mentioned before in one of my 410 of my previous entries.
Oh, and as Michelle was unlocking the gate to her house, she said that we should feel honoured to be able to go to her house. And when I went into her living room, the first thing I noticed was the full length window. I was like, whoa, because I like to look out of windows even if the scenery sucks. In my own home, I have to jump onto my sofa to look out of the window.
Then I noticed that the sofa and curtains were purple. Then I exclaimed that I liked her TV. Then I asked Michelle where her bedroom was. She brought me there and there I saw her study table and was all like, where's you bed, and she just pulled her bed down from the top of her table, so it was a table-bed-thingy. Which could be really useful because if you're studying you can really study, instead of clambering onto your bed thinking that you can study on your bed but always end up sleeping.
Which is what happens to me all the time.
I went back out and noticed the two family photos on the wall and was amazed. Because my family doesn't take family photos in a formal way like that. Okay. Anyway, you get my point. I got fascinated about the things in her house. But it's okay because she got fascinated with the paintings on the walls of my house, too.
Her black PS2 was fatter than mine, which was the reason why she had exclaimed that my PS2 was very thin when she came to my house. We were about to play this dance dance revolution game when the doorbell rang.
And in came Leongyew, also known as Michelle's Boyfriend, according to Ms Lau. She is a reliable source! And so am I. But then again, you can't trust anything you hear/read. But of course, I have a photograph as another source to back up my stand.
I wonder if I should post that photo up!
*Strokes my eight year old soft toy cat and goes, "Muahahahaha!"*
Okay, okay, I won't be that evil.
Anyway, Michelle and Leongyew played some other PS2 games together. And at one point LY was like asking Michelle why she kept switching to different games. Obvious symptom of decidophobia! Then I played metal slug with LY. I declared that I rocked more than him because I had one prisoner and he had none. Whatever the prisoner thingy meant.
We arranged Debby's present! The soft toy cat was placed in the box! And the soft toy cat in the box was positioned in such a way, to be holding the flowers Michelle made! I have a picture of this but I'm lazy to upload it so I'll upload it next time.
LY had to go home because he's a guai kia, and he brought the box with him. Then I jokingly told Michelle to send LY out of the house in case he gets lost. Her house became really quiet, which was odd, and then I realised that she really did send LY out. Hahaha.
After that, we played the dance dance revolution thingy on Michelle's dance dance revolution mat, because when LY came we didn't want to dance in front of him.
Then we played this funny game which is like streetfighter but isn't really streetfighter because I find streetfighter to be nicer and better.
Michelle's brother, Alvin, came back and so we got to see who he was because Michelle is always talking about how muscular and handsome her brother is. All I have to say is that he has nice eyes.
My mother called and I went home with Melina. On the way out, Michelle almost didn't send us out, so we said that she was biased because she sent LY out but was willing to send us out! Tsk tsk! But anyway, Michelle brought us to the place where Melina and I boarded the condo's shuttle bus to Westmall in order to take a train home.
In conclusion, we didn't study for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.
But it was okay.
On Debby's birthday, by the time we had completed our paper in the really really really really really really really really cold, air conditioned studio room, I was freezing. Chrystabel and I collected the paper hearts Melina made and gave to us (as in the people who chipped in for Debby's present) yesterday, to write our wishes to Debby on it.
Then we went to McDonald's and met Bryant and Leongyew there. We went to the toilet. I managed to go into the male toilet. Hahaha. Because there was an Auntie before me who said I could use it since there's nobody inside. Then when I came out, Chrystabel asked me how the toilet was and I told her to see for herself. She popped her head into the toilet just as the old toilet cleaner uncle came. So he told Chrystabel off. Hahaha.
After a while, Debby, Ruo Nan and Michelle arrived. And so we wished her a happy birthday and sang her a soft birthday song, which became too soft to be heard, because it was weird to sing in McDonald's anyway. After we talked for a while, I heard a 'Boo!' from behind which was Leon, Debby's boyfriend. But it was stupid because even though I knew he was coming (Michelle wanted to contact him so I went to his friendster account to get his e-mail address so that Michelle could add him on MSN and tell him to come), I got surprised as well, because I was sitting next to Debby.
And so he gave her a white rose. Aww!
Sophisticat (the name of the white soft toy cat which was printed inside the TY tag) is cute! But it is now called Safety Precaution. Hahaha. The fur kept dropping off and flying around. But it's okay because it is cute and adoorable.
And Debby was touched! Yay!
I went to ask them (lit students who were there) if they had noticed the words 'suck my cock' in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time but they didn't! I claimed that this shows that they didn't read the book thoroughly. Hahaha.
Then when we finally stopped talking, we went to order our lunch. Then Bryant went for CLB and the rest of us went home.
Michelle had influenced me to watch 'Couple of Trouble' and so after Debby's birthday celebration, I went home and watched episodes three and four. Halfway through, Mother came to sit beside me to watch as well. When the episode ended, she scolded me for watching korean dramas online instead of studying for my exams.
She obviously likes watching korean dramas as well.
And at night, Michelle started this 3 way MSN conversation with Bryant, so we ended up talking crap and I said that Stalin rocks more than Hitler because Hitler has only one ball but Bryant said that Hitler's moustache and cool emo hair can't be beaten, and Michelle was like, exasperated, saying that they won't ask who rocks more in the exams.
It is still a good question to ponder about anyway. We're trying to develop thinking skills, aren't we? It's a great pity because Cambridge won't be as creative to ask which dictator rocks more. The question totally allows you to combine two chapters and make thousands of marking schemes because there are so many possible answers, and this will make the lives of teachers miserable.
And then Mother yelled from the bedroom, asking me what "relationship" was in chinese. I wasn't quite sure and without thinking, I typed that question into the three way conversation. Michelle was like, ask Bryant! He just had CLB!
So Bryant was like:
ren gen ren
hao peng you
zuo dong xi
Which was so funny that made me laugh like crazy so I went to tell my mother and she laughed too. And then Bryant said that it's his masterful chinese poem. Funny!
I was still laughing about it in the morning before our English paper.
Teachers' Day celebrations tomorrow! I heard that school is going to end at 3pm so I was contemplating on whether to skip school or not. But Vanessa reassured me that it was probably just a rumour.
Oh gosh, I'm so long winded today.
