i just home at 1335 hours today! and that's the earliest time i have reached home after a normal school day (excluding examination days) since sec two! or for my whole secondary school life. haha. especially because today is a friday, and i usually reach home much, much later.
ate lunch with jiaying at the canteen, then took bus 77. christopher sat next to me in the bus and we talked about studying for SA1. ahhh. i keep reminding myself that it is just next week, but i can't seem to be motivated enough to study.
which reminds me that the last time i spoke to him and yikiat was in the CCA room during st john training, borrowing a yellow lanyard from their cupboard as ours was missing. they took out a whole bunch of yellow lanyards from their store, asking us to choose. they lent us the newer one, of course. haha.
oh, and i also accompanied melina to open the music room for choir practice before. it was on a tuesday of the english week, and this group of guys came in to play the drums and the piano. jierong and kenneth were awesome. sitting the the air conditioned music room listening to their music is better than watching that youtube video on the computer screen.
oops. deviated from what i was blogging about. anyway, zhiwei and josephine asked me to eat lunch with them at mac, but i declined.
2.4km run was so tiring! i think i'm getting more and more unfit each year. i finished the run in 17 minutes plus. so lousy can! so, overall for my NAPFA test, i've got 2 grey boxes, meaning E grades. they are for standing broad jump and 2.4km run. and whats the use of jumping far? unless it comes in handy when you have to jump across a river 2 metres wide or something. but then again, whats the probability of even encountering such a situation?
i did pretty well for the rest of the stations, except those two. oh well. another bronze this year. i think i got A for sit ups and shuttle run, B for inclined pull ups and sit and reach. could not do inclined pull ups this year, ruining my score of doing 18 inclined pull ups every year since primary 4. ugh.
speaking of which, i told michelle about how i cheated during my 1.6km run when i was in primary 4. well, it wasn't my fault. mr kang and the whole of 4D boarded the bus and we went to some nearby stadium to run. then there were these slips of paper, to tick for your partner everytime you see him or her run past. apparently, zhenwei was my partner and he was supposed to give me the slip of paper during my final round. but he gave it to me one round before. lol! and other girls were like, eh! why you so fast have your paper already!
hahaha. so funny. in the end, my timing was around 8 minutes plus, which was as fast as this guy from track and field.
but i remember that 4D was a very united class. all of the girls there were my friends, until i didn't do very well for streaming and went to 5B. when they announced which class we were streamed to, they cheered for me, saying that, whoa! so good, you got into mr kang's class! most of them remained in 5D. we still spent recess together for the first few days, then after a while, they just suddenly forgot who i was.
i can still remember playing the 'scissors paper stone' game at the temporary canteen when nhps was being rebuilt, forming a long line across the canteen. we also used to play 'crocodile' at the fitness corner as well.
the slam book is still with me :)
oh, and during literature lesson today, we laughed at some of jack's COLD JOKES.
the guys asked mr latiff: why is Mas Selamat a woman?
the answer? because he is a wanted (ONE THIRD) man! hahaha.
then all the guys urged jack to tell another one of his jokes. they said, "hey! tell mr latiff the peanut butter joke! yah, yah! that one is the best! we promise to laugh!"
so jack gave in and asked, "have you heard of the peanut butter joke?" mr latiff said "no, i have not," so jack said, "okay. after i tell you the peanut butter joke, you can go and spread it."
there was silence before the class broke out in uproarious laughter :)
oh, and they presented the FAC awards during morning assembly today.
my cute juke box over there *points to section under profile* has only two songs. lazy to add more. haha. if you dont like listening to '勇气' by 光良, you can press the 'next' button and listen to 'apologise' by timbaland (featuring one republic). that is jack's theme song, by the way. he like to sing the chorus and play the song on his samsung phone during recess.
although he also sings other songs like 'jenny' by the click five and 'bleeding love' by leona lewis, i've heard him sing 'apologise' more often. and he sings these songs all of a sudden, in the middle of class. thank goodness he doesn't sit behind me anymore. hahaha.
i dreamt that i went back to brunei, and watched people kayak.
i miss OBBD! i miss kayaking!
i think my sister forgot to feed her fighting fish. she bought it last thursday, and i spotted it swimming around furiously in the small little bowl.
just went to feed it, and it ate hungrily, polishing off the little red dots of fish food on the surface of the water. it swam inside the bowl, using its small and cute fins to get around, with its dark, blue tail swishing behind.mmm, just ate mango pudding. now pouring myself some carrot juice.
