mdm yeo called my mom

i knew it! my guess was correct!

Source A- her blog
Source B- my sister's interpretation of Source A
Source C- an account from a neutral party

cross referencing to all three sources,

everything fits. just like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.

i was just pretty amazed that Source B was so accurate. i mean, i know she's an A level literature student, but her analytical skills still surprised me. Source C was the final piece to the puzzle.

even though mdm yeo announced that i was one of the four lucky people to have passed the additional math retest, she still came over to my seat yesterday and said that even though i passed the test, the actual mark for SA2 was very low and so she asked for my mother's number, saying that she'll call her to tell her to advice me.

i was thinking, why can't you just advice me now, instead of telling my mother to?

but i just asked her if i could check my handphone and scribbled down my mother's handphone number.

i texted my mother after that: Mummy, my math teacher asked for your phone number even though i passed the retest. and buy pastry for me for tomorrow. Thanks.

her reply was so LOL funny: You are good you pass the retest

anyway, my mother thinks that mdm yeo called her while she was at work but when she got to the phone it stopped ringing. but mdm yeo still called my house phone at night. at first i didnt expect it to be mdm yeo, but when i heard my mother going:

"hello? yes? you are mdm yeo ah?"

i immediately fell silent.

"oh. she quiet meh? no lah she very noisy"

LOL. then,

"oh. yah if dont know must ask question, cannot just keep quiet. actually she's quite shy with teachers... yah ah can ask friends also..."
"...actually she had tuition by this guy who is in pre university.."

blahblahblah. tuition was such a pain in the neck.

"but she passed her retest? oh just pass only ah."

ahhh dont remind me. i could've scored better if i didnt cancel my answer which i thought was wrong but was actually right. jeez.

"actually how many percent in class pass A math ah? oh i see.."

the conversation seemed to take forever. when my mother hung up she told me that 60% of the class passed add math. and she started her lecture. why i should ask questions in class and how i should have made full use of those tuition lessons and that i didn't put in enough effort.

hmm. i wonder how i could have made full use of useless tuition lessons. so i started complaining about how bias the tutor was.

but no, my mother has to bring my sister into the picture by yelling very loudly for her, ("MINN!!") such that my sister emerges from the study room, and prompted to tell us how she worked her for the 'O's.

the weird thing is nobody sees the effort that i've made to study for the additional math retest. i studied till i fell asleep. then i woke up and continued. and i practiced a little during chinese lesson too. i kept worrying that i'd have to drop add math.

i know i have to work hard. i'm not so daft.

so please, shut up.

mr cha came to our class after school yesterday to talk about our survey results. that it was lower than the majority of the school. especially for the one that went something about the students taking care of school property.

he cracked some jokes as usual which made us laugh a lot. then he gave us this sheet of paper which was about 5 school issues, to write down what we thought about them and what we can do to help. or whatever.

during math remedial, i wrote a lot about school property. but i didn't really have time to vent all my unhappiness about the school. especially the one that was about teachers motivating students to learn. i strongly disagree.

AHHH. mdm yeo started on a new topic today. chapter 12, differentiation.
hey. at least i know what it's called, for a change.

lessons were a drag.

discovered that guys tend to bottle up their feelings but are able to type them out in their handphones and store it in the 'drafts' section. well, at least two of them whom i know. once known. whatever.

my stomach feels like its twisted into a knot.

couldn't feel better.
