2811- went to the jurong regional library to study with kuan keong, zhengjie, paul, wenxi, weijie, and some 3e6 guy. oops. that sentence was wrong, because technically, i wasn't studying with any of them. anyway, during lunch mingshen joined us. well actually he joined them, at the other table. boy, they do have a way of making people feel like an outcast. i already got the message, ok? i only followed them to eat for the sake of my empty stomach. didnt hang around after lunch. what a waste of time.
2911- had FAC training at hwa chong institution. had to direct junyan to the building in the school as he was lost and the school compound was HUGE. had some bonding games like entangled, 4 legged race, and the staircase game. funfun! especially when all the sec threes played the staircase game together to try it out before letting the juniors play :) went to westmall with yunqian, nicholas and paul. cried around midnight while reading a book i borrowed from the library, 'Red Rage'. it was a book translated into English as it was initially written in German. the story was so depressing that when the main character cried, i started tearing up as well.
3011- tried to do ISPL. saw ruishan at lot 1 but she didn't see me. there was some stupid power rangers show there. all the kids were so amazed by people in costumes.
0112- stayed overnight at HQ. played taiti with yunqian, shiya and junyan before going to sleep.
0212- standard chartered marathon duty. its the pour rub-on and squeeze deep heat duty! the situation was the same as last year's. was at the same station with shuangyu and a male officer from zone 3. we were the last two from bb corp to reach HQ as our station was outside the duck tours access which covered both the half marathon and full marathon. we also had to wait for the runners to make a U-turn so we reached HQ a few hours later than the rest, though it seemed like there were a bunch of neverending runners going past us. was glad that the others waited for us there before going back together. oh, and paul told me that he liked the book 'Elsewhere'. yays:) he told me to recommend him more books.
0312- went to school with ngai fong and xinying. they had to put some first aid stuff inside and check the bbq items in the sj cupboard while i had to retrieve some record books. bought stuff that i needed for OBS.
0412- stayed at home and watched 'The Devil Wears Prada' on DVD with my sister. pizza was delivered to us for dinner and fell sick later that night. had a fever of 38 degrees.
woke up early today as my mother had me eat panadol before she left for work. had a visitor in the morning. then garang guni man came in the afternoon. other than that i was home alone today, being sick and having stomach aches.
oh gosh. i can't finish all my ispls by tomorrow. its impossible! and after OBS there isn't much time. also have not revised additional math! and just now i took my temperature twice. 35.9 degrees. from high fever it becomes hypothermia. weird hur.
the bad thing is that i won't be able to read the book i borrowed from the library, 'A Spot Of Bother' by Mark Haddon, as it is due on 12 December.
the good thing is that for Outward Bound Brunei, my dad bought me 2 torchlights, a box of solid fuel, ziplock bags, a lock for my luggage, batteries, cotton twine. my mother bought me wet tissues, a nice long sleeve shirt and a prettaye purple jacket! :) both of them also bought insect repellent. i also bought some lip gloss, nylon cord and talcum powder. its like receiving early birthday presents in advance. ahaha.
ly texted me today, wishing me happy birthday in advance and to enjoy my outward bound trip. i replied but didn't get an answer. guess he's in Malaysia already? anyway thanks:)
won't be blogging tomorrow. will be probably chionging ISPLs and packing my bag for friday. i'm also not allowed to go for training because my mother wants me to rest before going for OBS.
will be gone from 071207 till 181207. oh my gosh. 12 long days. excited, yet scared :\
